Sooooooo yummy😍😍😍😍😍😍I got the chicken and it was huge!!!! Juicy and tender. The yellow rice with peas is cooked to perfection. Plantains caramelized nice and soft. Don’t get me started on the FlanđŸ€€đŸ€€the flan was so buttery soft sweet, best flan I’ve ever had hands down!!!

Food is gross and staff is rude. I went there for empanadas (i got 3) and i asked for extra mayo ketchup. They asked me “how many do you have in the bag” i said “2 but i will pay for more” the cashier then “then that’s enough” I’m not sure why she was rude or assumed 2 was enough when i asked for more and said I WILL PAY FOR MORE. But hey that’s the staff they have. And the empanadas were greasy and cold.

We were referred to this place and boy oh boy we were NOT disappointed. We were greeted, and treated very nice while waiting on our food. The server and the cook came to our table to check how everything was and had a small conversation with us. I was craving a mofongo with garlic scampi and OH MY GAWD this was banging. The fried sweet bananas were just right. The potatoe ball & mondongo was delicious. My husband had yellow rice & steak and the steak was so tender he could cut it with a butter knife.

Unmatched Quality, Quantity and Flavor at El BohĂo Restaurant!
I want to take a moment to recommend El BohĂo Restaurant in Pleasantville to everyone, regardless of culture or race, because their service is truly world-class. I just picked up a catering of yellow rice with pigeon peas and perni for 15 people, and I am blown away by the quantity and quality of the food! We served ourselves three plates each, and we still have food left. Amazing!
Let me tell you, I am more than satisfied. The presentation was impeccable; everything was packed in a hygienic and professional manner, which gave me great peace of mind.
The aroma and flavor of each bite was simply delicious, a true delight for the senses. The juicy and perfectly seasoned pernil, along with the yellow rice with pigeon peas that was cooked to perfection, made this meal an unforgettable experience. My guests are delighted and I am more than grateful!
If you are looking for a place where quality, taste and professionalism are the norm, El BohĂo is the place to go. I will definitely be back, and I will not hesitate to recommend it to everyone.
Thank you, El BohĂo, for exceeding all my expectations!

I have never had Dominican food before. However this has become one of my favorite lunch spots. I always like to try something new and it’s always good. I’m going to back to school soon so my last order will be my last for a while. Thanks for all the amazing lunches ❀
