It’s been so long since I’ve been by, and I know the food is so good so I wanted to bring my partner. We instantly sat down and were greeted. The waitress knew everyone’s names and I was a little jealous of how homey it must have felt for them, but I was piggy backing off of it. She was so so busy, but the food came out quick! It was very delicious and the price is pretty fair. They take card and cash. If you’re visiting or a local, you must go! It’s a little gem.

Seriously terrible, I came here one time got food it was good the minute they seen I was someone of color and I returned to order again my food was HORRIBLE , egg shells , uncooked bacon & burnt toast, as well as my food was given upside down.

Essl’s was a huge deal during the coronavirus, offering amazing food and a chance to still feel like you’re dining out while at home. But now that the COVID-19 issue has all but been erased, Essl’s continues what it came here to do…cook great comfort food at good prices while offering great service in a no-frills atmosphere. Their signature sandwich, “The Messl”, is so good it should be illegal. Don’t tell that to the cops who always eat there though…in fact, just grab a 10 Messl Punch Card and dig in. 11th one is free!
