Last night 6 of us who have been to Plumstead many times went for dinner, Food was great as always (prime rib, stuffed shrimp, champagne chicken, chicken stir-fry excellent,) On this visit however our server was not very pleasant. It started with asking for separate checks which she said she couldn't do. One guest asked for cole slaw instead of salad and she said no subs, but on previous visits we could sub. Another server came over and was very pleasant complimenting one of our party on their Christmas sweater, the manager offered to take a picture of our group. Our server reached across other diners to serve food or drink instead of walking around to put in front of them. Probably should have said something to the manager upon leaving. We know her name but will only say it starts with a P.

needed a restaurant near Six Flags, looked at the website, menus, etc. had high hopes. three adults, and a child.....I had the filet bernaisse. the steak was cooked to perfection, but the perfection ended there. it tasted rancid. sent it back, which is not something I do often. there was no problem with that, odd thing was, I was never asked is I wanted something else. the mashed potatoes were boxed flakes and had a really weird, almost porridge type consistency. a friend ordered the champagne chicken. she compared it more to a marsala, and said it was alright. I tasted it. thought the flavor was flat. last adult order was a chicken parm sandwich, I didn't taste it, but was described as alright. the children's meal was chicken tenders and fries...must say those were really good. we won't be going back. yes the filet was taken off the bill, but I didn't understand the hype

George, the door greeter and member of the family that owns TPG was disrespectful to me a senior citizen. Ruined my Father's Day dinner. The PG lost my credit card !!!

It was my birthday dinner. I ordered filet mignon. Had it before and it was great. This time it was soo tough the waitress said a lot were sent back. The owner told me they got the wrong kind of meat. Didn't offer any apology and walked away. Could have taken it off the menu. Don't know if I will go back. Spent a lot of money there many times.

The big room is very noisy. The nachos looked really good, but underneath it all, they were all almost plain. Too noisy service lacking. But it always draws a crowd. It's a great place for appetizers and cocktails. Had to wait to get seated while we literally stood next to the bye. That was seating us He never said I'll be right with you. Nothing. We just stood there like dummies. For ten minutes.

From start to finish it almost seemed like we were an inconvenience.
Drinks took forever, so long that we ordered them, waited, received out apps, and then drinks came.
We were not given any bread or specials menus.
Instead of getting what we ordered I was given a steak sandwich instead of the French Dip Sandwich and someone else at my table was given onion rings instead of fries. The steak sandwich was so bad I didn’t realize it wasn’t what I ordered until half way through. I just thought everything was horrible already why wouldn’t the food.
The only thing I was happy about was the refills for my water! Great job team!
It was freezing out with a waiting room barely big enough for 5 people as people walk in and out. No room next to the concierge because it’s in top of the bar.
1 star seems cruel so I give 2 because at least the place had some personality.

Terrible experience. To summarize, reservations for 6 people for 5:30, there until 7:15, waited forever for food, when arrived, all dishes were lukewarm to cold. Had to ask a busboy for bread while waiting to place our order while waitress was chit-chatting at another table. Minimum 20% tip for a group of 6 for a bill over $300. No manager on duty, was offered a free dessert after a cold meal, not eaten. We hadn't been to Plumstead for years, and do not plan on returning. Overall disappointing.

Food was ok.
Service was good. Attentive server.
Atmosphere was what it was. Rustic. Nice.
I was on a date and I hate day dates. If we sat at the bar it probably would have gotten 5 stars across the board.
The date was regrettable, so….I’d go back and try it again with someone else and sit at the bar next time.
It wasn’t the restaurants fault. Popular place. Get there early.
