I stayed across the street from the hotel on the bottom floor and the family that stayed upstairs had children that played and yelled until 10:00pm every night. The room had an ordor. The staff were polite and helpful.

They gave a man a copy of my key who I have a restraining order against and I called to complain and nobody would get back to me until I threatened legal action. The manager on the phone instead blamed me that I didn’t tell her that I was in such a situation and I said I’ve never heard of a hotel just giving keys to random people. All she offered was 15% off my next day after blaming me for having a complete psychopath enter my room. The room smells like complete mildew, You are only given one towel which you have to keep trading in, They were tons of flies in my room, and it was worse than any motel 6 experience other than the fact of what happened. The teenagers that work at the café are too busy socializing with each other to even look at you, And the carpet feel so dirty in the room that you have to wear shoes the whole time. Just really bad customer service they don’t give a sh-t

The room was very clean and you could tell that the staff was doing a great job keeping the resort clean in these times of the virus. All the staff were very cordial .The pool staff was constantly wiping down door knobs, handles, and any surface that could be possible exposed. The bathrooms were spotless and sanitized . I felt very safe . The beach area was clean and there was more then enough room to set up our chairs and umbrella. The boardwalk was close by . The pools were very clean with plenty of lounge chairs to use. I only had one problem . The cook in the Lido Cafe was not wearing his mask properly while preparing the food.

My and family and I stayed here for 3 days. The beach here is wonderful and the boardwalk kept my daughter occupied in the evenings but carpet in the room was filthy and full of stains. The windows and window sills weren’t clean in a very long time. They were extremely late with our check in and prompt with our check out. The location is great. Would not come back here again for $400 a night.

We were booked into room 331 in the main hotel . The room seemed fine, until we tried to go to bed. We discovered that there is some sort of machinery near our room--who knows what--that turns on for about 10 minutes every hour or so. It is so incredibly loud and pulsating, it actually made our room vibrate. We were up all night as it woke us over and over with its jarring, nonstop grinding and shaking noises. My husband and I came home absolutely exhausted and wiped out. Happy we were able to give our kids---very sound sleepers--a good time, but really, it is completely inappropriate to rent that room out at such a high price with no warning of that terrible grinding noise. This was an EXPENSIVE room as it theoretically had an ocean view, albeit a partial ocean view. Reached out to the hotel with absolutely no reply. If you come here and get a good room, it's lovely...but if there is something wrong, you're out of luck.

Went to the new location in Spring Lake. Walking in was thinking this is going to be a great experience. Chef walking around talking to people. well it was a little different than expected. We were a party of 8 at end of day Service - this was the worst part: -Orders taken incorrectly -Pepper mill dropped in soup and no offer to replace -Wrong Appy (well they took it off the bill) -2 main dishes come out 10 minutes before others served -1 persons order never taken, we were all done before it came Food: - overall poor combinations of flavors, some foods over salted, some you would expect to be savory were sweet. - chef stressed new england clam chowder has no potatoes, fails to say its full of turnips. Very salty -black truffle appy was terrible. No taste of truffle and over powered with dark chocholate. -ahi tuna appy was sweet, not to my tasting at all -my main dish was veal saltimboco again it was sweet. thinnly sliced veal, almost cold cut thin. -My wife had the salmon and scallop special.. The salmon was smoked salmon, I tried the scallop and they were definitly not 'dry' scallops but rather the cheaper 'wet' ones. -one of our party wouldn't eat thier dinner. I have to admit it looked terrible and I'll usually eat just about anything. It was the 'burnt macaroni' Yes it was burnt mac and cheese made with ziti. Overall a disappointment in service and food. I won't say it was not edible but just not very good.

Service was TERRIBLE. I was told the only option for my son was buttered pasta, come to find out that waitress had no clue. There were several options for the kids. Another waitress was overly “friendly” & the chef was extremely unprofessional, He was drunk. It just got worse as the night went on. He was drinking our wine- Witnessed by one of my family members. . He tried overcharging us 18 extra people and demanding ridiculous amounts of money. He was a creep, to say the least!!!

If you like the"chef" to tell you a 5-minute story on his homemade potato chips this is the place for you. If you like a chicken dish with less chicken in it than a happy meal with chicken mcnuggets this is the place for you. If you want to be overcharged $300 for your mom's surprise birthday party this is the place for you. And if you want the"chef" to help himself to your bottle(s) of wine (It was a BYOB), this place is for you. And if you want to here the"chef" berate his wonderful staff and curse at them in in front of family and small children this is the place for you!

Family of five, we went there for complimentary breakfast by the Sands Resort & Hotel .Terrible service, plates took forever even when you are the first table seated. Expect 60 to 90 minutes for your plate to be ready. Servers are stressed out and spread too thin - especially for the Labor Day Holiday weekend. Kitchen does not have enough help and uses way too much oil for breakfast food - especially egg dishes. The location is beautiful facing the Atlantic Ocean. The food is average at best. Instead of enticing customers to return for lunch or dinner, the poor service keeps customers away from the restaurant - what a shame.

Breakfast was way better than lunch.
