Horrible food and we were splitting a bill between two and they charged us both full amount
Love this place! Upstairs dining is charming... like stepping back in time in Americana. The upstairs bar area is island style...very quaint and cute! For a boardwalk restaurant the food was exceptionally good! A little expensive, but they are a seasonal business so understandably their prices reflect that. But even so, the prices are not out of control. Great drinks, great bartenders! If you're lucky enough to get a boardwalk/waterview location, this place is people watching perfect! Good service, hostess, bartenders. It's fun!

Food is extremly expensive. $25 for a crab cake sandwich. The crab cake in the sandwich is extremly small and mediocre quality. It covered a small fraction of the bun. Fries came out cold and the sauce that came for the crab cake sandwich was disgusting. Bill that was charged on the credit card was higher then the receipt, which leads me to think there was an extra charge for credit card payment, which I was not informed of or I was just over charged.

I was just there with a couple friends and we frequent the boardwalk restaurants regularly. Service was unfortunately very poor this time around. We asked for our waitress several times and had to sit staring at our food for several minutes super hungry because we weren’t brought utensils at same time. Drinks were watered down and the calamari was very tough and chewy with a bland, watery sauce . All in all the experience was less than subpar. The pizza we saw brought to other tables and fries seemed very school cafeteria style with cheap looking fast food comparable fries. The most regretful part of it all was when we saw noticed a baby roach crawling up the wall and that was it! We paid our check and left feeling very dissapointed. There are plenty of other options on the boardwalk I would say seemed like better choices. The one restaurant across from them seemed packed and like a madhouse all day. We ate at the restauraunt across from them in the evening later and loved the quality of lobster rolls and pizza with toppings . In my opinion there are other options in boardwalk with better quality. Seems like the owner has a lot of friends in area and lets a lot of his friends eat free so they post favorable white knight reviews. When we went in there was an obnoxious, rowdy group of drunk guys that were very loud which were owners friends we were later told. I would look to check out all the many one star reviews like mine first from reputable reviewers to possibly save yourself a few bucks or from getting sick.

Food reminds me of Applebee's and the service was mediocre if that. My husband and I waited 15-20 minutes before being greeted by our server and which she only came over because my husband walked up to the hostess wondering where our server is. We knew there was going to be some sort of a wait as it was 8 PM at the boardwalk. When we got our food we didn’t even have utensils and I had to ask the food runner who I could tell was so overwhelmed but was super nice. Overall I feel like they should hire a few more people as there were more food runners/bussers than were servers.

I had the best time at boardwalk bar and Grill. The food was delicious. Lisa was the best waitress we’ve ever had. I would come back for the service I had tonight. Best I’ve ever had! Ever come to point pleasant make sure you ask for lisa and go up top to see the most kind girl Maddy! We had a highchair and she was very accommodating! She was smiling and was ready to help us when we got up! 10/10 best experience I’ve had with people! Lisa rocked and the food was spectacular!!
