We had our wedding night before “welcome party” here for approximately 65 ppl. It was amazing!! Management was extremely timely with email responses and pricing was reasonable. The day of all staff were very attentive and accommodating! Bar tenders were excellent as well and served all guests quickly and efficiently with high quality service. Service was excellent all night!! Definitely recommend for any party or event! Can’t wait to go back again!

Our first time, and it didn't disappoint. The shrimp wrap was delicious along with the fries and fried clams app.

My wife and I went there last night with the grandkids for dinner. Started off we needed to ask for a waitress after we were seated for a while. Two out of five orders were made wrong. One of the servers dropped a container of dressing on my granddaughter’s cloth pocketbook. He cleaned it off and I had to ask for a wet towel. When the check came I paid with my debit card. After the waitress ran my card and she brought it back to me to sign I noticed after signing that the debit card wasn’t mine but yet the charges on the bill were to my card.
As I was notifying our waitress another patron came over and said he had my debit card. Not only did he have my card he also had his bill paid by me with my debit card.
What a mess! I asked for a manager and he refunded me the other patrons bill. Then I asked him if he would credit something off our bill due to the spill. He gave us some money off the check. He told us the waitress was very busy and he was sorry. My wife and I have worked for many years and we both know what very busy is. We will not be back. I hope my debit card statement is correct.

Celebrated my Grandma’s 100th Birthday in Point Pleasant! We did some shopping and rolled into Boathouse 401 around 4pm. The atmosphere is relaxed, and most of the meal was very chill, we had great conversations. Somewhere between 5 and 5:30pm it became a little loud as more people filled the surrounding tables. After some time, my aunt couldn’t hear what my grandma was saying, but because she was trying repeatedly to talk louder and my aunt still couldn’t understand her it became a source of great laughter. We laughed so hard, my grandma almost fell off her chair. I’ve never seen her laugh so hard. We were all just present, enjoying the moment together, laughing together, and nothing else mattered…the memory makes me smile, and I’m really grateful for that.
Our server was a pro. She was cool, cheerful, knew the menu well and helped select appetizers. Unfortunately they were sold out of clam strips which was a bummer, but we recovered fast. Between my grandma, my aunt and myself we finished the nacho appetizer, ate half the crab and spinach dip appetizer, and we all had crab cake sandwiches which were really good. Fries were thick and crispy but soft inside. Nice. Wonderful experience down the shore with my NJ family!

Fantastic Spot by the Marina!
Boat Yard 401 is a true hidden gem! The food is absolutely delicious fresh, flavorful, and prepared with care. The service is just as impressive, with a friendly and attentive staff who make you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. The location couldn’t be better, sitting just steps from the marina, offering beautiful views and a relaxed coastal vibe. Whether you’re grabbing a bite after a day on the water or just looking for a great meal in a prime spot, Boat Yard 401 is the place to go. Highly recommend!

Came here and waited a while to be seen, but didn’t mind much. Received mozzarella sticks that were okay and some fish n chips that tasted a little off. Woke up the next day with intense stomach pain that has lasted all day.

Food was very underwhelming. $28 for Lobster roll that was 95% roll with a thin smear of lobster salad. For the price I’d expect at least $5 worth of lobster in the thing. Tartar sauce that came with my son’s fish and chips was runny and flavorless, and the fish was dry. Rice in the pokebowl was mushy like it had been left in the cooker too long. Overall for $100 it’s greatly disappointing

Took a long long time to get our food. The wait staff was super pleasant and understanding it the delay in getting food service was unreal. They seated and served a table of 10 or so after us and their food arrive before ours did.
