The enchiladas were amazing! And so were the empanadas. The spicy green sauce that came with the food was also delicious. 5 stars all around.

I had the shredded chicken wet burrito. It had plenty of chicken but inside it was dry as sawdust and flavorless.
The “wet” means it is covered with melted cheese. The coating of cheese was so thin I couldn’t tell it was there. Overall not good!

From born and raised - Mexican.
Great open space, great music, waiter was absolutely respectful and sweet.
My partner (not Spanish speaking) was also checked in on and treated great!

The food was absolutely delicious.
I love to cook and can be very particular based on food standards (flavor-wise).

My partner got the chicken burrito, which was served with beautifully cooked black beans and rice. It looked and was delish!

I very rarely see the Molcajete dish as an option so I had to get that.
Molcajete (which is made of all rock) came out nice and hot allowing for the flavors of the meats to blend in together which was topped with Queso Oaxaca. The green salsa was perfect! Also came with side of black beans and rice and tortillas de maíz in a tortillero.

It is BYOB. I get too full when I drink alcohol so I got an Horchata.

Overall beautiful experience. It hit home.

Going back this week and taking my in-laws.

Great flavors, great cultural representation throughout the restaurant. Really took me back home. 10/10 recommend.

Our take out chicken quesadilla meals were ridiculously small - Specks of chicken inside quesadilla maybe 2 spoonfuls of Spanish rice and beans. $35. Will not be going back.

Them tacos tho! Simple yet packed with flavor! The mole poblano is the best in the area. 10/10 would recommend to anyone craving good homemade Mexican delicacy.

Worst Mexican food experience ever.

This Mexican Grill is a disappointing attempt at Mexican cuisine. Calling it authentic is a stretch, to say the least. The food barely resembles anything remotely Mexican. The Fajita was bland and lacked any real flavor, and the chimichanga were more like poorly wrapped sandwiches with a sad mix of ingredients. They seem to have no idea what makes Mexican food special.

To make matters worse, the prices are ridiculously high for what you get.. You'd expect gourmet quality at those prices, but instead, you get a dish that looks and tastes like it was thrown together without any care.

Customer service? Non-existent. The staff seemed indifferent and uninterested in providing any help or making the dining experience pleasant.

In short, this place fails on every front. Save your money and your taste buds – go somewhere else.

Very bad food, very expensive, no flavor, if for me that place had already been closed, I really don't recommend it.

What a gem! True authentic flavors in every bite and less than 10 mins from Point Pleasant Beach! We had such a great experience from the food, to the service, to the music and restaurant decor. It was truly like stepping into an abuela’s kitchen for the hour. It’s not common to find many great Spanish food spots down the shore but this location is a MUST-TRY. Their Birria tacos were 12/10! Also, for those who may not want the cheese added. It is optional! My babygirl loved the rice and beans. My mom enjoyed her chicken tacos!

Vegetarian options: The great thing about Mexican food is that most dishes can be made vegetarian without compromising flavor.

Dietary restrictions: Cheese was optional

Kid-friendliness: They were so kind to my daughter!

Wheelchair accessibility: One level so easy to get a wheelchair or stroller in if needed
