In Point Pleasant so my wife could attend a bridal shower. Looked for a place to wait and have a bite. Small cozy spot, service was fantastic and the food was very tasty. If in the area again, I will definitely go again.

Stopped by after spending the day at the beach, food was amazing as well as their prices. Their elote was only $5 and the birria tacos were excellent and $16 which is very reasonable. Our waitress was super attentive and sweet, 10/10 service. Definitely would recommend and support this place, rather than an over priced tourist trap restaurant on the boardwalk!

After we left Point Pleasant Beach, we looked for a place with vegetarian options and decided to try El Pollito Loco. When we walked in and and sat down, we were told they would need that table for a customer that had called in and were told to sit outside on the sidewalk. We sat and the server took our order and brought our drinks. After that another couple arrived and they were seated at the bar and then the other customers arrived for the table. We waited for awhile and the people at the bar got served before us. When the server finally brought out one of our plates it was a plain burrito with some chips on the side. It didn't have the guacamole, pico de gallo, crema, or cheese that was mentioned on the menu. The server didn't give us utensils or napkins and when we tried to ask her where the toppings were for the burrito she just ran away from us while we were still talking. She later brought the other plate we had ordered. The service was horrible and the food was mediocre at best. We will never return to this restaurant and don't recommend it all. Save yourself the headache and try any of the many restaurants on the strip.

Huge selection of Authentic Mexican, with quick service. The open kitchen and wonderful service set the tone for great meals, and the fresh corn tortillas which spent some time on the flattop were the star. Appreciated they could accommodate a large party by combining tables, and have hefty portions. Kid friendly

We had a takeout order. It was quick and everything we ordered was very good. We have ordered from here several times and have been very satisfied each time.
3 dinners were less than $60. total so that was nice.

The waitress kept forgetting our order, brought an extra dish we didn’t ask for, and was wiping the table, her sweat, sweeping the floor, and even spilled our food on herself — all while wearing the same gloves! She also dropped a Coke. The food itself was just okay.

I ordered some chips guacamole and a chicken quesadilla. The quesadilla was good for a quick stop in meal. Was not a fan of the guacamole its too watery and not that smooth creamy chunky consistency. The chips were fresh. The cost was a bit high but everything is expensive nowadays!
