The Wharfside Seafood & Patio Bar

Had a drink at the patio bar while we waited. Very busy but no trouble getting service even though standing room only. Our table was ready in about five minutes so he notified them and went 20 minutes later and we’re seated right away. Food was excellent shared a fisherman’s platter of lightly breaded fried seafood, food was excellent and service by. Liz was also great. We come to point Pleasant three or four days a year for many many years. We never miss Jack’s wharf side for dinner.

Terrific happy hour. Dine with a water view. Casual. Plenty of parking . Good food at a good price. Next door is also patio bar with music and food.

The atmosphere is wonderful. We went this past Sunday the weather was beautiful so we sat outside and there was a live band. You are right on the water so you can take in all the passing boats and views. I had the fish tacos and my husband had quesadillas. The food was good as well as the service.

October 20th very limited food out of most things I know it's off season but, if your going to say your open have food!

Highlight of my Cape tour. Best Kingklip and Prawns I ever had. Ricardo our waiter was friendly and spot on with his recommendation. What a great place.

Nice spot,you really want the outside if you can get it.service was attentive and friendly. Relaxing spot.unbelievably they were power washing their dock and deck area during lunch and the outside was crowded

I have been eating here since 1974! This restaraunt has never failed to deliver. Jack Bakers is a true NJ Shore gem that is not to be missed!

Dietary restrictions: I have seafood allergies, but the non seafood offerings are superb! You will not be disappointed!

Recommended dishes: Lobster Bisque

I got the Fisherman's platter, which is basically a seafood combination. I love fried clams and usually they are a little rubbery, but these were not. Best fried clams I ever had. The scallops were amazing and probably the best I had in 20 years. The water view on this warm October evening was a plus as well. We took seating in the outdoor section.

Wheelchair accessibility: They have a nice ramp going up into the restaurant.
