Jersey Shore BBQ (JSBBQ) Point Pleasant Beach

Looking for a place to eat on vacation with a family with a lot of different food preferences. What a legend this spot ended up being! The BBQ was amazing!! So fresh with tons of flavor! The owners are super humble and friendly and they made sure you felt welcome at this restaurant. The pastrami is also amazing here! And there's pizza too and yes it's also amazing. There's something for everyone to have here! A must visit if you are in the Point Pleasant area! Me and my family will definitely return again next time we are in the area!

Bugs were flying in this place. The pulled pork is good and mac and cheese. This place is overpriced.

My wife and I have been to the restaurant a few times and always enjoyed it. This time we brought our daughter and grandsons who were visiting from Massachusetts.
They all really loved the food.
It was plentiful and delicious and we all brought sone home.
This place is first rate no matter what we order.
We will be back and next time I want to try the breakfast.

The absolute best bbq you will get in this area hands down! I've never ever had a bad meal from jsbbq everything is always 12 out of 10!!

This is the best BBQ I've had in Ocean County. Everything was spot on (except for the beans). The brisket was super tender and perfectly cooked. The ribs were spot on; didn't even need sauce. Smoked pastrami was good, but the smoke overpowered the pickling of the pastrami brisket. Still very tasty though and would like to try again on a sandwich. The mac and cheese was great. Only thing we didn't care much for were the beans. They did not have a barbeque taste to them at all. Tasted more like something you'd get at a Mexican restaurant. All-in-all though, definitely 5 stars and will definitely be back. Oh, and great service, too!

You've got to check this place out! If you know BBQ, you know the owner's legit a BBQ master, so the food is righteous - his family and team couldn't be more welcoming. Sloppy Joe, Mac n Cheese, Pulled Pork or Burgers - just hits right! Oh, AND reppin the Garden State hard on "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives". So worth the visit, just as great for Lunch or Date Night!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I recently visited Jersey Shore BBQ in Point Pleasant Beach and had a pretty good experience overall. The service was excellent—the staff was friendly, attentive, and really made us feel welcome. The food was also good, though I have to say the ribs weren’t quite as tender as I’d hoped. I found myself working harder than expected to get the meat off the bone, so maybe it was just an off night. Despite that, the flavor was on point, and everything else we tried was solid. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area and craving BBQ!

We loved JSBBQ! The fried shrimp Po'Boy, "Bear" brisket sandwich, and OG Longhorn Cheesesteak were all delicious and full of flavor. The sides—potato salad, coleslaw, cornbread, and tater tots—were perfect complements. Everything was fresh and tasty. Can’t wait to come back!
