The pizzas alright, not amazing but not terrible. Used to go there every time we went to point pleasant but with the new prices I don’t think it’s worth it.

I honestly don’t know what the bad reviews are about. Maybe the prices? Two slices and an apple juice was $17. But it is the shore so I guess I get it. The pizza was really good. Could have used a bit more cheese but it did the job.

Hello, so I am coming on here to report an experience I had at this restaurant. One of the workers was being disrespectful to a 14 year old child. My daughter had sat at the table and didn’t realize she wasn’t able to sit there because she had ice cream. The worker walked out and told my daughter she couldn’t sit there, my daughter said okay and got up, and the worker said fix your face.
Kid-friendliness: Not FRIENDLY AT ALL!!

Never heard that a pizza place is not allowed to put pepperoni on a slice … but you have plastic straws out for the customers to take which is against NJ state law .

The service at this establishment is extremely disappointing. We were seated outside the restaurant, but later went inside to use the restrooms. While we were waiting in line, the owner comes up to us and rudely asks “Are you guys in line for the bathroom? Outside. You gotta wait outside the restaurant.” Keep in mind there were 4 people in total waiting, and the back of the restaurant by the bathroom was completely empty. However, we all cooperated and moved the line outside. A few minutes later, another employee comes from the back seating area and says “This bathroom is for Joey Tomato’s customers only”. When we responded that we were in fact customers, he said “Well you’re blocking the area so you need to move the line.” We were asked to move once again even though there was no one in the vicinity. You would think that after paying $42 for a mediocre plain pie, customers would at least receive friendly service, but this was definitely not the case. We will definitely not be returning.

Decent pizza for super inflated prices. Got two slices that ran me close to $17!! Little crazy but think that’s the going price for slices on broad walk. The buffalo chicken slice was amazing, had chicken pieces and sauce on every bite. The chicken bacon wasn’t as great and can be skipped for other options. The front staff were great and very understanding taking a confusing order, thanks to my buddies. The older gentleman was a bit more annoyed about it.

We visited Joey Tomato's for the first time yesterday and we have been missing out! The pie was huge and delicious. It had a thin crust and the perfect sauce. The owner was super friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect! The price for a pie is comparable to every other place on the boardwalk but this pizza is definitely the best! We will definitely be back!
