First time customers...hostess, who was also the manager, let us stand there without any acknowledgement for a few minutes, we almost walked out...at LEAST say I'll be right with you......service was okay and food was good until the end of the meal when she brought us the check without asking us if we wanted dessert.....we were there for my birthday dinner so we ended up going somewhere else with better service....we also weren't offered a bag for our leftovers like the table next to us was....manager gave some ridiculous response about the waitress and college or some nonsense.....we don't care as we are paying customers....pretty lousy manager as she walked away as I was trying to talk.....not a smart way to run a business....the bottom line is always a satisfied customer and to make money....we will never go back....too many other great restaurants in the area.

NOT KID FRIENDLY!!
We parked in an almost empty parking lot.
Walked in and and asked the host if there was a table available and was told no. I immediately knew it was because we had our two kids with us.
I called an hour later to ask how long the wait was for a table.(just so confirm my suspicion) and was told we could have a table in an hour and twenty minutes. They should advertise that they are adult service only.

Very random choice by my wife and I. Walked in, 20 minute wait but found and ate at the bar. Solid drinks, wife had a Paloma really good. Great appy menu, got a raw bar sampler and watermelon and feta salad to start. Raw bar items, very solid, watermelon salad excellent. Unfortunately I forget the bartenders name, she was awesome, mentioned all the salads were top notch. Mains, wife got crab cakes, 2 in the entre, good size and delicious. Me, pork chop, I am a pork chop guy, top 5 pork chop. Cooked perfectly, and well seasoned and perfect with the cherry peppers served with it and the roasted potatoes were insane. Again, a random choice, literally on the walk and could not have been happier. Go for your next nice dinner.

I had dinner with my friends mom. She's frequent here. We sat at the bar. I had the scallops and shrimp scampi on special. The bartenders were friendly and were able to enjoy dinner and have a conversation. The other patrons at the bar were friendly, and we could have a good conversation. It's a great local restaurant .

This is my second time at The Offshore and it was a pleasant experience. My first time was years ago, so I don’t have much memory of it. We made a reservation for 4 and were sat upon arrival. It’s a very cozy atmosphere. I honestly would love to sit at the bar. It has at least 2 fireplaces, which makes it perfect for off season as well. Our server was absolutely lovely. She was kind and patient and attentive to our needs. We started with drinks from
the bar which were served quickly and strong. The Spicy and Greasy Rhode Island Calamari was a great choice for an app. It was definitely spicy! The calamari was tender and delicious. The salad with the house dressing was fresh. The dressing is very good and the homemade croutons added a nice touch. For my entree, I ordered linguine with white clam sauce. The clams were plentiful, but the sauce lacked much flavor. That is my only wish for improvement. The servings are massive! Definitely brought home leftovers. My mom got the flounder francaise and loved it. Another member of our party got the meatball appetizer as her meal and enjoyed it. We have an overall nice experience, plus it has a dedicated parking lot which is an added bonus!

Rude hostess. Not sure why they have a kids' menu because kids are obviously not welcome.

I was really surprised when entering this restaurant in comparison to the other point Pleasanton restaurants. It was warm, inviting minimalistic and a nice atmosphere cozy banquets, a fireplace and a variety of different rooms to dine in. The service was exceptional or Waitress whose name I didn’t catch, but I’ll say is a champion volleyball. Star was great. She made an easy suggestion service with a smile and very professional and fun at the same time. Stick with the seafood. You can’t go wrong. All the appetizers are great. And the in-house home made desserts.

With a very relaxed atmosphere.
Kim and Jeff do a great job making the
Customers feel welcome.
Hostess was completely rude to my wife and 7 year old son before we had a chance to sit down. We cancelled our reservations and left.
