Took my daughter here for breakfast before her shift began this morning at a nearby establishment and we were so happy we chose Shore Points BBQ! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a very friendly waitress and a gentleman I believe was the owner. They were super sweet and so welcoming. We both had omelets, and could not have been more pleased with the quick service, generous portions and incredibly delicious meal! Could not think of a single negative! We will be back - for sure!

Great friendly service! Food was very good. The portions (oh my) You will not leave hungry, I promise. My whole table had to take home food because we couldn't finish. Also, very reasonably priced. Recommended!
We tried Shore Points for the first time last week and it was delicious! We had everything from ribs, chicken, brisket, pork, cole slaw and potato salad. Our servers were fun and friendly (Taylor (?) Im sorry I forgot!!) & Roger). Coming from TX my bbq expectations are high and this place hit that mark!! 10/10 recommend.

What a great place. It’s not often you find such a gem. Food was awesome, seri e was awesome, and conversation with the owners father was awesome. I would give it 10 stars if possible. It was just an awesome experience. I highly recommend heading down to point pleasant even if your not in the area, make tour way over there.

THE PIG HAS FINALLY GOTTEN MAD RESPECT IN POINT PLEASANT!!!!Our group loves food & eats out a lot, so we can honestly say that we know terrific food when we taste it (by the same token, we have also had our share of the opposite of good, & then we warn others & never return again to the scene of the crime!) Keeping this in mind, we had become steadily disenchanted with our favorite BBQ place in town that had been "THE joint for ribs" for many years (both the quality & quantity of all their fare had been way off the mark for some time now), & so late last week we decided to give Shore Points a try & in seeking our new pork paradise. Well, the moment we tasted the fresh-made chicken finger appetizers, we knew we had found a new home! Roger (both the very pleasant host to us, & father to Ryan, the owner & chef) suggested a number of favorites to help our selection, but the group unanimously went all in on baby back ribs, mac & cheese & cole slaw. The result: the BEST ribs we have eaten in a very long time - meaty, fall-off-the-bone tender & sauced perfectly with their house-made choices. You don't even need to get your hands all sticky if you prefer to use the fork, even though they provide plenty of napkins along with the customary wet wipes. The sides were great, especially the cole slaw. Plus, they were served in very generously-sized crocks - not at all like the thinble-like cups we had gotten used to at the old place.Everyone agreed - we can't wait to go back & take Roger up on his offer (challenge???) for us to "eat our way thru the entire menu". Now that we found our new "BBQ NIRVANA", we plan on doing just that ASAP!P.S. Absolutely amazing!!! Shore Points is tops! Hands down one of the best restaurants in Point Pleasant! The food is ALWAYS out of this world (breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, specials..all beyond delicious) and the people are so kind! I cannot recommend this place enough!!

What an awesome find. Delicious southern food and bbq. My wife had the 5pc fried chicken with mac n cheese and corn sides, and I thoroughly enjoyed the Nashville chicken sandwich, had a nice mild spiciness to it paired with pickles and cole slaw to give it a sweet twist. And we finished off our meal with apple cake and vanilla bean ice cream which was just amazing. This will be our go to place anytime we’re in Point Pleasant.

So I've been on a quest to find the best BBQ in the Monmouth and Ocean county area, this place was absolutely terrible! Pull Pork was horrible and inedible, the BBS chicken was just passable for consumption, the Ribs, were terrible, the wings were hard to eat, very tough and the french fries were the best thing this place had to offer! Waitress was great, atmosphere was just ok. But when you goto a restaurant, you're really looking for the food to be excellent, big let down!
