The Coal House Bistro

Just happened to stop by last night and were so pleased to have such delicious pizza. The crust was thin and crisp with so many options to choose from. Thank you so much for offering vegan cheese! We will be back for sure!!!!

I have been to the Coal House several times and the food has been consistently good. The service has been good and staff is very friendly and helpful.

You could not tell this pizza was cooked in a coal oven. The crust was still wet. We will stick to Rosie’s for our coal oven pizza.

The pasta fagioli soup was excellent. I am usually disappointing and I’m almost afraid to order it but they’re really knocked it out of the park. The patient was exceptional not Tonton I don’t know was just right which is rare, the mozzarella was fresh, as was the basil. The maître d’ was attentive but not over the top and the wait staff was excellent. For such a reasonably priced meal I thought the quality was excellent.

Love this place!! Any time I’m in Point I try to grab a Margarita Pie. I’ve had many coal lies and this is definitely top shelf quality. Sweet sauce. Delicious!! NOTE: MONDAY CLOSED NOW, Google not updated...

We really had a nice time....we sat in the room where they had a live duet singing and playing music. They were great! It really made the visit so much nicer. The food was delicious and service was good! We will definitely be returning.

The coal house bistro was fantastic from the moment we walked in the door starting with frank who seated us to the exceptional staff and delicious food prepared by chef Jimmy vena which was a 10.

Great night out. Food was outstanding. We tried a little bit of everything. Best stuffed mushrooms I’ve had in a while. Eggplant rollatini app was perfection light and saucy. I could go on and on. A must try!

This used to be my go-to when frequenting the shore, but when I ordered carry out tonight I was really disappointed. I always ordered the eggplant panini with a big house salad, this time I also got the bruschetta appetizer. The bruschetta was incredibly fresh tasting, as was the salad, as always—but I couldn’t even bite through the panini. The bread was very awkward, as if they took three very end slices of stale bread and stacked them on top of each other, just sloppy. The bread was impossible to eat through, even the toasts that came with the bruschetta. I was not impressed at all and regret spending money on it. Hard times are upon us and if I’m taking some of my money to enjoy a meal out, I expect it to at least be fully edible.
