Catherine's Farm to Table

Best food in Point Pleasant. The fresh pastas are diabolically delicious. My wife’s steak was cooked exactly-to-the-tenth-of-a-degree perfect. The apps and dessert were delightful, the wait staff was friendly and flexible, and the atmosphere was quiet but not lifeless. Eat here.

It’s a shame that bad service made it into a poor overall experience, because the food really is good. Would I come back or recommend? No.

My husband and I hosted our daughter’s baptism here for about 55 people. Let me just start with, the food was absolutely incredible. Our guests are still talking about it!! Shout out to Alexa who coordinated our event beautifully and efficiently. Shoutout to Grant and the staff who took care of us and our guests. Couldn’t recommend this restaurant enough for your next event and we can’t wait to come back to dine!

We were the only table they had tonight but they were still so welcoming and friendly!! The food was spectacular, such a fantastic seasonal menu! Kelly was perfectly attentive and friendly while still giving us space, she answered all of our questions and made great recommendations! I can't wait to go back!!!

This past weekend I had my baby shower at Catherine’s! Grant and his sister,Alexa, were absolutely fabulous to work with. They were beyond accommodating and communicative throughout the entire planning process. The service the day of was top notch. Staff was very friendly and professional helping the event run smoothly! The food is absolutely incredible, everything from the appetizers to the entrees were fresh and flavorful! If you are looking for a great dinner spot or a local place to plan your next event, I would gladly recommend Catherine’s! Can’t wait to go back for dinner soon 😊

One of THE BEST restaurants my wife and I have ever been to!! Everything is fresh and delicious!! The staff is friendly and accommodating. The food is fantastic! Unique dishes using fresh, local ingredients! 10/10

We went during Restaurant Week. We had a great meal. The food was delicious and high quality. Our server Nicole was very friendly and attentive. We got the pork belly sliders, the empanada, the goat cheese crustini (amazing!!), the lamb bolognese and porkchop with cherry pepper sauce. Will definitely go back!

We had dinner with 6 of us and it was exceptional. The shrimp bisque was one of the most delicious dishes I have ever tasted. Every dish was delicious and I have never had such a delicious and creative chicken dish for dinner. The service was warm and friendly and attentive and it is a lovely ambiance. I think this is one of the best restaurants in Monmouth and Ocean counties.

The food and ambience of this restaurant are amazing. Every course was delicious and we never felt rushed. In fact the courses were appropriately spaced so we could sit and enjoy our dinner with friends. Nicole is a wonderful server. She paid just the right amount of attention to our party and has a lovely demeanor and sense of humor. You can’t go wrong here!!

This was our first visit to Catherine’s and, we were very excited based on their online menu and summaries of farm to table.

We arrived and when we received our menus, the first thing we noticed was, there were several items listed on their website menu that were not on the menu we received at the restaurant. Further, there is a disclaimer that states - No substitutes are accepted. We joked about that to our server, because they were already out of so many items and she stated I know, “the chef is “my fiancé”. Not sure why this mattered.

When our waitress came to the table she said, “we have no raw foods tonight, “I guess the fishermen didn’t fish today”! As she giggled, we didn’t think this was funny because that eliminates most seafood choices in the menu. She also stated they were out of multiple other dishes on the menu. This surprised us, because we were seated at 7pm, so you would think they would have a full menu available!

We mentioned to our waitress that their online menu showed items that were not included on the menu we received in the restaurant. (A person in our party was going to order the chicken parmigiana listed on their online menu). Her response was, “we no longer have a relationship with the website”, and the chicken parm wasn’t that good anyway”!!

In short - Catherine’s was extremely disappointing!! No plans to return anytime soon!

The service was good, the atmosphere was nothing special, the prices were exorbitant, and the flavors were just not on point. Drop the farm to table concept and focus on better tasting food and presentation.

We had a retirement dinner tonight for our coworker. 16 of us every dish from appetizers to dessert was delicious !Thank you Grant and staff for a great evening

Portions small for this severely overpriced menu! They are not the only game in town. Need to be competitive price and portion wise.

Such a great experience all the way around. So happy to see another exquisite dining experience in Point Beach. Clearly PPB is the destination for fine dining and a night out. Highly recommend!
