All our dishes were delicious! Firecracker shrimp, chicken dumplings, pork & seared tuna!!! The service from the hostess to bartender to waitress was incredible. Never seen a staff that happy!!
Everything was perfect except for the noise level. The food was fabulous and prices were reasonable. The service was also excellent- Sarah took great care of us. It just was so loud!
Good food and close to the beach on Bridge Ave in Point Pleasant. Cocktails & wine available. Allergies are handled seriously.
Excellent service. Seated at a round table as requested. Food was better than it has been in the past. Overall a good experience. Likely to return.
Food was great. Steak cooked perfectly. Only complaint was service was slow but may be short staff. Servers were friendly and attentive
Apparently they've updated to a newer menu. Lots of new choices. I had a new dish with chicken and onions, was very good. The service is always outstanding. Friendly and prompt servers. And it's close to home!!

Half Moon Point in Point Pleasant Boro, NJ, is an absolute gem that truly stands out in the local dining scene. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by a warm, inviting atmosphere that perfectly balances sophistication with a relaxed, coastal charm. Whether you're planning a romantic evening or a casual dinner with friends and family, Half Moon Point offers an experience that’s nothing short of exceptional.
One of the highlights of dining at Half Moon Point is the diverse and thoughtfully curated menu. There's something for everyone, whether you're in the mood for refined cuisine or a more casual dish. I had the pleasure of trying their calamari, which was perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with just the right amount of seasoning. The ahi tuna tacos were another standout; fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, they were a true testament to the restaurant's commitment to quality.
For the main course, I opted for the flat iron steak, and it did not disappoint. Cooked to perfection, the steak was tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. It’s clear that the chefs at Half Moon Point take pride in their work, using only the freshest ingredients and expert techniques to create dishes that leave a lasting impression.
But what truly elevates the dining experience at Half Moon Point is the exceptional service. The staff is attentive without being overbearing, ensuring that every need is met with a smile. Their knowledge of the menu and genuine passion for hospitality make you feel like a valued guest from start to finish.
Adding to the ambiance is the live music performed by talented local musicians. It’s the perfect accompaniment to a delightful meal, creating a lively yet relaxed atmosphere that enhances the overall experience. Whether you're enjoying a cocktail at the bar or savoring your meal in the dining room, the music adds a special touch that makes your visit memorable.
Half Moon Point is more than just a restaurant; it’s a destination for anyone looking to enjoy delicious food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're a local or just passing through Point Pleasant Boro, I highly recommend making a reservation at Half Moon Point. It’s a dining experience you won’t soon forget!

Went here for our anniversary and left disappointed. Waited 50 minutes to get our appetizers which weren't great. My fiance's steak was cooked very unevenly and my scallops were just ok. Our drinks were so heavily poured that it was difficult to enjoy them. The only good thing about our meal were the desserts. Definitely not worth the price.

First time at this restaurant, food and drinks were absolutely AMAZING! The French onion chicken and crab cakes were delicious as well at the cheesecake and firecracker shrimp! I loved my mango margarita and my espresso martini! Can't wait to visit again
