Started with very limited parking, took 15 minutes in neighborhood to find parking. We had reservations and were promptly seated upstairs, unfortunately the air conditioning was on so cold, you needed a down coat.. its Oct. It was 59 degrees out. Drinks were super expensive. Our dinner was served 1.5 hrs after arrival, but they wanted to serve it before we even got the soup salad or appetizer that was ordered.. Was very disappointed. The plus side was the food was good. No manager came over to apologize.
Always consistently good. I like the casual atmosphere and innovative options available. 1/2 price bottle of wine on Wednesdays increases the value. One of my go to places.
There were six of us for a family birthday, and all six of us were delighted with the food, the ambience and the service.
As always, the food, drinks, and service are outstanding! The Oktoberfest menu is perfectly executed. The Rouladen and Schnitzel are perfect!
Very, very good! No complaints. Much better than average food, excellent attention to detail, great service, friendly, well-spoken servers, table linens, handicap access. We had dinner at a regular table, but there is also an active bar that seemed very busy. An excellent special occasion restaurant!
Appetizer of cauliflower was very good as was a pear salad. Waitress was attentive and friendly. problem was the steak frite was a rubbery piece of meat with a bland sauce and the matchstick fries had zero flavor. Perhaps the came from a bag. Given the price expected better. music was nice.
Great atmosphere and food was delicious. Our server was fabulous, making the entire meal, a wonderful experience!
Food was excellent. Had the blackened red snapper with a black bean cake, melon Pico and passion fruit beurre blanc..Snapper was cooked perfectly and black bean cake was delicious. Service was outstanding. Will go back often.
Wait staff very attentive and friendly. Lots of delicious items on the menu from which to choose. Can't wait to go back.
Burger night was awesome. We definitely would go back for that deal. She crab soup, delicious. Salads were good. Half moon burgers and fork & knife burger were cooked as requested.

Easy to park, reasonable prices, nice environment, but the overall experience was very average. I ordered a Lobster Salad and a Basil Old Fashioned, only to have the waiter return to say that they are out of Lobster for the Salad and out of Basil for the drink (at 6:45PM). Also, the food is served direct from the kitchen (not by the waiter), and they left the food without utensils (the busboy took the utensils with the appetizers), it took a couple of minutes with the food sitting in front of us before seeing someone that we could ask for utensils. Nothing bad, but better attention to details would make for a much better overall experience.
I go there because my experience is spectacular every time. The food there is delicious especially all the homemade sauces and salad dressings. Our server was delightful and we had a wonderful dinner as always.
My wife and I had reservations at 4:00 pm. This was right at transition time between lunch and dinner. We were promptly seated and greeted by our server and a trainee. Everyone was very friendly and cordial. There was a little uncertainty about whether the dinner specials were available yet. After a short time we were told they were. In the time we waited for the appetizer, we noticed that the room we were in could use some TLC. Also, there was still no air conditioning. Fans were positioned around the downstairs areas. Upstairs was very cool. We had the Quack & Squeal appetizer. It was very good. The only thing I would ask for are 2 more toast points. My wife had the shrimp & risotto. The risotto was not cooked. The servers said the chef liked to serve it al dente. It was raw, undercooked, and starchy. When mentioned to our server they said other patrons made the same complaint. The shrimp were perfect. I had the halibut. The fish, rice, and sauce were delicious and cooked perfectly. We had the blueberry crisp which my wife said was the best dessert she has had in years. She would come back just for the dessert. Overall I would come back but ask to sit upstairs. (only used Friday & Saturday)
Halfmoon Point is a local restaurant and bar that serves great food and has a very comfortable atmosphere. We enjoy sitting at the bar and they bartenders are so friendly. Always have a good experience there. I recommend to others.
Had a fun night out with this restaurant! There is a bar area and a table area. Nice decor and ambience. Nice choices for specialty drinks dinner specials as well as the regular menu. Appetizer and meals were fantastic and presentation was beautiful.
