Half Moon Point in Point Pleasant Boro, NJ, is an absolute gem that truly stands out in the local dining scene. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by a warm, inviting atmosphere that perfectly balances sophistication with a relaxed, coastal charm. Whether you're planning a romantic evening or a casual dinner with friends and family, Half Moon Point offers an experience that’s nothing short of exceptional.

One of the highlights of dining at Half Moon Point is the diverse and thoughtfully curated menu. There's something for everyone, whether you're in the mood for refined cuisine or a more casual dish. I had the pleasure of trying their calamari, which was perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with just the right amount of seasoning. The ahi tuna tacos were another standout; fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, they were a true testament to the restaurant's commitment to quality.

For the main course, I opted for the flat iron steak, and it did not disappoint. Cooked to perfection, the steak was tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. It’s clear that the chefs at Half Moon Point take pride in their work, using only the freshest ingredients and expert techniques to create dishes that leave a lasting impression.

But what truly elevates the dining experience at Half Moon Point is the exceptional service. The staff is attentive without being overbearing, ensuring that every need is met with a smile. Their knowledge of the menu and genuine passion for hospitality make you feel like a valued guest from start to finish.

Adding to the ambiance is the live music performed by talented local musicians. It’s the perfect accompaniment to a delightful meal, creating a lively yet relaxed atmosphere that enhances the overall experience. Whether you're enjoying a cocktail at the bar or savoring your meal in the dining room, the music adds a special touch that makes your visit memorable.

Half Moon Point is more than just a restaurant; it’s a destination for anyone looking to enjoy delicious food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're a local or just passing through Point Pleasant Boro, I highly recommend making a reservation at Half Moon Point. It’s a dining experience you won’t soon forget!

Went here for our anniversary and left disappointed. Waited 50 minutes to get our appetizers which weren't great. My fiance's steak was cooked very unevenly and my scallops were just ok. Our drinks were so heavily poured that it was difficult to enjoy them. The only good thing about our meal were the desserts. Definitely not worth the price.

First time at this restaurant, food and drinks were absolutely AMAZING! The French onion chicken and crab cakes were delicious as well at the cheesecake and firecracker shrimp! I loved my mango margarita and my espresso martini! Can't wait to visit again

I've passed by this restaurant for so many years and never went in and finally decided to try it. We had an excellent experience. The wait staff was excellent. The food was amazing and service was great. I had the French onion chicken and it was outstanding. I highly recommend This restaurant.

Was not happy with my meal. Blackened shrimp was not blackened but the lemon pasta sure was. There wasn't a hint of lemon and the pasta was gummy and seasoned with blackening spices. Not good. The description on the menu did not match the plate. My daughter's was very good-seafood pasta, but could have used more sauce. It was dry. The ambiance is nice and our waitress was terrific. Also, I like bread with my meal. I heard two other tables request bread. What's up with that? Key Lime was delicious. I will try again because most of what was leaving the kitchen looked amazing but not too soon.

Corn & Lobster dip does not meet the name. There is zero lobster, not even lobster flavor. Crispy wings were excellent.

Wow! Located on Bridge Ave on Point Pleasant this small spot has the most delicious food and drink around. The menu has a bit of everything and everything is good! Signature cocktails are incredible - recommend the "hot & dirty" martini. Put this spot on your restaurant list! For us shore people, it's open year round.
