Food rating is for their coffee only. They definitely need to carry more pastries as they run out too early. Better alternative to Starbucks. They depend on coffee characteristics rather than high calorie additives. Biggest seller seems to be iced. No cappuccinos just high quality coffee.

All my coffee beans come from Rook! Some of my coffee mugs, too. I have the kind of machine that grinds whole beans before pouring. Rook's Nicaragua and Guatemala are favorites. The staff are all so friendly. Lots of locations, too.

Rook consistently offers great coffee and friendly, knowledgeable staff at all their NJ locations. This includes their fresh roasted beans, grab and go beverages, and made to order ones. Not really a place to grab a coffee and work or chill, more of a grab something solid and go to your workplace or hangout spot. Highly recommend their Matcha and New Orleans style cold brew offerings.
