So this morning I stumbled upon this place while walking around Arnold's Marina waiting for a friend and let me say I was blown away!! I have never in my life been to such a cute little diner. It's super clean and tidy. The staff are professional and in uniform. The food and service were like a dream! I mean I felt like I had been plucked from reality and placed in a perfect diner in some fairy tale! ? I can go on and on. But that was my initial feeling about Castaways. I can't wait to get back for lunch with my wife!! Thank you Castaways!!

We love this place! The food is excellent and made fresh. Mike, John & Eric have the best specials and you can't beat their award winning soups. The wait staff of Alyssa, Jess and Madelynn are awesome and make you feel right at home. During the summer they have outdoor seating which we really enjoy. If you're looking for a breakfast / lunch place in the Point Pleasant area give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

When this place is on top of its game you can't beat it but 3 out of 4 times they aren't. Consistency has been an issue but it's gotten worse and I finally have to call it. What was once my favorite breakfast spot is now a place I can't gamble on anymore. When it gets to the point where you have to request the bacon in your omelet to even be cooked, and they still fail, that's time to give up. On the same occasion even the home fries which are the best around when done right were soggy and bland. I miss what this place was.

New breakfast place near our Thanksgiving retreat.Cute bungalow style restaurant back within marina property.Cozy dining spot.Great food.Corned beef omelette with roasted red skinned potatoes and toast.I liked the cinnamon swirl pancakes, light and fluffy.One star less for the coffee, weak and warm. ☕It never tastes like my percolated brew. ❤

(Formerly named Pixie's) Our post-Thanksgiving breakfast was surprisingly great! While the majority of folks were out and about searching for deals, we decided to discover a new breakfast eatery. Alyssa, our Rockstar server, hustled through the tables dropping off OJ and picking up dirty dishes. This cozy spot back on the Marina property sure delivered with the corned beef omelette, toast and red skinned broasted potato quarters. $11 My make your own omelette gave me several ingredients to add to my eggs and it was steaming hot and fresh. (same sides) $11 A plate of cinnamon roll pancakes also delighted the palate. $8 One star deduction for the weak and over heated coffee @ $2.50. I'm not a coffee snob but do like it hot and fresh.
Alyssa, our ROCKSTAR server, hustled through this cozy gem, hidden away in a marina off of Rt 35 this Black Friday.As w3 spend rime and discover more parts of NJ shore, we try to dine at new spots throughout the area.This nautical themed restaurant offers a nice menu u, competitive pricing and great food.One corned beef omelet, one make your own omelet and a side of cinnamon swirl pancakes rounded out the order.The two cooks prepare all food to order, hot and fresh.The red skinned roasted potatoes were especially good.Real butter, rye and totally satisfied with the entire experience.I highly recommend this place! ?

We loved our first trip to Castaways and look forward to going back! I'm afraid to give it too much props or I might have to wait for a table next time--but will still strongly recommend, at our own risk! Great service, great breakfast basics plus basics with a twist!
