The Cookie Lady Cafe in Point Pleasant Boro changed owners about 6 months ago. The food is overpriced for breakfast and the portions are small. I normally order 2 eggs over easy with potatoes and toast. The 2 eggs served looked like medium size eggs (very small). The square potato pieces seemed to be deep fried and the toast barely had any butter. The price of the breakfast did not equal the amount / quality of food one would expect. I have been to this cafe many times in the last 15 years and this was an underwhelming experience. Will not be back.

Cute place. Ordered asked if homefries came with omelets. Served fried frozen potato cubes.Thats not homefries. Had to ask for silverware and straws. Servers were friendly but very clueless about what you need and need to be educated about food being served. Shouldn't need to ask for butter and jelly for toast.

Ordered delivery. Got my coffee delivered like the picture below. I don’t like that because it’s so exposed. Had to throw it away cause it looked like someone took a sip. The bacon is so burnt. The food overall has no taste. I mean no salt no pepper no seasoning no nothing. The potato’s had no taste, alongside with everything else. Don’t let me start with the pancakes like what is that? It looks so inedible. Anyways what a waste of my money🫠

Went in to get breakfast the restaurant was dirty and had flies all over in the place. wanted to get a cheesesteak scramble and my wife wanted to get a vegan wrap with vegan cheese because she cannot have dairy. Waiter came out half hour later to tell her they didn't have any vegan cheese and offered regular cheese. I wanted white white bread with my scramble because I cannot have other bread since I am on dialysis and have to go by my kidney dialysis diet. How can a restaurant run out of white bread and not have vegan cheese for a vegan dish. How pathetic. If you don't want to offer it don't put it on your menu. Will never be back there. We got up and walked out after waiting forever for the food.

This place is literally the best breakfast in town I have tried every breakfast sandwich and brick and point Pleasant this place has the freshest eggs, the freshest bread and it’s a monster of a sandwich move out of town used to get it every morning but still find myself waking up early. Come in here best sandwiches in town. I’ve tried everywhere... I recommend getting a turkey bacon, egg and cheese with breakfast. Potatoes on the sandwich a little salt, pepper, ketchup, amazing sandwich, bread and eggs are always crazy fresh love this place

Our go to spot for breakfast! This cafe is adorable, cozy and fun! The service by Jennette was wonderful. Omelettes were so fresh and delicious! I The home fries were out of this world with flavor! Will be back again soon- for lunch next time!

The BBQ Brisket breakfast bowl is absolutely delicious! The brisket just melts in your mouth and they give you a very nice size portion for the price. I’ll be coming back for this for sure!! 😋
Came back today under new owners and let me say I’m very disappointed! No peppers and onions and only half the brisket with no bbq but the price is still the same. If you’re not going to make it the same way change your menu. I should not have to ask for peppers and onions like the time I came. This time I didn’t ask if they made it with peppers and onions to see what I got. The first pic from 4 months ago second pic from today 🤬😡
