Time and time again, this place short-changes you on THE ALL YOU CAN EAT option. If 2 people order 8 rolls on the first menu pick, they bring you 6 rolls, leaving out the most expensive rolls. If one person orders 5 rolls on the first pick, they bring you back 4 rolls. This has happened every single time I have been there. About 8 times.I made a scene today, and demanded my missing rolls before I even started eating...because I can't stand this cost-saving tactic of theirs. The food is very good. And I never got sick. I really like it. But I hate the business model. So I only tip them $1 or $2. I don't care for the staff at this place at all. At $31.50 per head for ALL YOU CAN EAT...bring me the food I chose on the menu.

Really wonderful. The appetizers were wonderful and the service was great. Might be the best all you can eat sushi in Mercer County.Dietary restrictions: Veggie friendly

Do not go after 8pm, you'll be eating at 9pm with cleaner flowing into your nose. Thee most awful thing ever. Would not recommend this place maybe being the first customer you can enjoy the food. I rather hiro bistro near by.

They must have gotten new owners is the only explanation I can think of. It took 2 hours to get 2 plates of food. We used to come here all the time and it was amazing - this experience was AWFUL. The restaurant was empty and they decided to start cleaning up instead of cooking. Then when we finally got our order, things were missing and our 2nd order didn't even go through. When we asked about it, they found the ticket punched as if it was already made (spoiler alert: it wasn't). We left still hungry and disappointed. If you're looking for sushi in the area, I recommend Hiro Asian Bistro in the Plainsboro Village Center.

My favorite place for sushi. It's a half hour drive but worth every minute as I have the best sashimi salmon.

My son and I usually share a teriyaki bento box and a salmon avocado roll. It's a great value with many delicious options.

Went there for lunch with a sushi-loving friend for all you can eat. The place is in the corner of the strip, so not exactly visible. However, very spacious inside, no weird lingering stale smells that are typical of a corner restaurant IMHO. The service was quick probably because we were the only ones on a friday lunch time. Makes me wonder though since usually friday lunch times are what folks at work go out to lunch for. Anyway, the quality of the food was decent, rolls and sushi were proper sized, seemed fresh. The wasabi was neither flat nor radioactive green. Was a fine paste so not just wasabi root for sure but had a nice kick.Has other entrees and items that we largely ignored since we were not there for thoseI think I will go back again.Vegetarian options: There are rolls like sweet potato roll, ango avocado, cucumber and such. There were some Tofu items too.

Had the AYCE sushi here which comes out to approx $40 adults and $22 kids. Appetizers were really good and so was most of the sushi. Not the freshest sushi but not the worse, I’d stay away from rolls since it’s a lot of rice. The service unfortunately was a 0. It took almost 2 hours to get our sushi and the staff wasn’t friendly at all, very grouchy. We got sat in a room and each time had to run outside and hunt down a waitress. They fill u up w water so u get full.

Ichiban doesn't differ much from the other sushi places, other than the all you can eat. Typical lack luster service, raw fish, and led lights illuminating the dinning room.
