We sat in the dining room/bar side. We probably should have sat in the bar only side. Seemed more lively. Regardless, the dining area had live music which was great. Food was sub par. Of the 4 of us, 2 enjoyed our meals. Fish and chips were good. Burger seemed good. Steak looked, and allegedly was, subpar. Same for the chicken Caesar salad.

A Princeton classic. Bit of a university type bar. Good, classic bar grub but don't expect fine dining. The bar, on the other hand is just what the doctor ordered. Good, compétant, nice bartenders as a rule. The beer selection is a kick up. The cocktails are aces and on budget. Classic destination on the alley. Go there meet someone for a drink and a bite.

This bar is honestly not worth the visit. The staff is rude, the vibe is disorganized, and the way they handle guests makes the whole experience frustrating instead of fun. There are plenty of better spots nearby—skip this one.. Bouncers & manager are clearly on some power trip

Bouncer with a beard was sexist and condescending. Wow so rude and we didn’t do anything wrong 😭😭 Also venue was empty at midnight when we arrived so we ended up leaving. Also we paid such an expensive cover 😀😀

Great lunch. The food is awsome here and reasonably priced. Great old tavern look and feel. Waitress was very polite and attentive. We’ve been coming here for many years. Always something new on the menu by the chef.
