Good value for happy hour but food is pretty average, prefrozen commercial grade appetizers

The tiger tiger burger is fantastic, and great selection of beers on tap as well. Stop here almost every time I’m in Princeton for work!

The after hours menu had good choices and the bartender was on his best game!
So my twin took me to this place, and I'm not a burger eater, but I tried and when I mean I tell you I had to come back 2 days later to get another one so delicious must try the Bleu & Bacon Burger 🍔 we also had the pink lady drink 🍸

Food was average but the service was great despite being a very, very busy Sunday. Cheers to the staff!

We stopped in for a quick beer and apps, and I really liked this place.
It's small, but has a good vibe and it's right on Witherspoon so it's easily accessible.
The bar is not very big, so if it's busy, you're probably not getting a seat there.
They have a LOT of brews on tap - I counted around 50 or so!
We had a couple of beers and two apps:
The Dublin Spring Rolls and the oyster special.
Both were VERY good.
I'd definitely come back and try a few more options from the menu.
Overall, this place had a great, lively vibe, good bartenders, good menu an reasonable prices.
I would definitely come back here.

Our dining experience was disappointing. Not sure how places like that stay afloat in the business.
The nachos and cheese tasted stale, and the wait time for food was much longer than expected. The service felt inattentive, and to make matters worse, there were extra items added to our check that we hadn’t ordered.
Overall, the experience did not meet expectations, and attention to food quality, service, and billing accuracy would greatly improve this restaurant.

Friendly service. Nice place to eat. I sat outside that was covered. My food was good. My drink was so-so. Saying that it would not stop me from trying it again.

Restaurantji Recommends
It's one of favs and don't-think-just-go places to hang out with the my favs in life. Sit, talk, comment, and decide on the fate of the worlds, nibbles n snack with a few pints.
Good service, great location, parking is easy with a lot of paid options available.

Great food, I recommend the Aaron Burr/Gur, delicious!
Bathrooms were a bit messy but they were super busy and I can't blame them for that
Expensive, but would come back at least once more. $20 for a very good cheeseburger

My companion wanted to have a drink after dinner. We checked online and saw on Alchemist & Barrister’s website that it was open until 2:00 a.m. on Sundays. We arrived around 10:15 p.m. The bar was very full, so we went to sit down at one of the tables. One of the waiters (a short male; could be a bar tender too) saw us about to sit down and then turned off all the lights in the table area. I went to ask the female bartender what time they closed, and she replied, “In 45 minutes.” I am not sure why the male waiter was so rude and passive-aggressive. He could have simply told us that they were closing in 45 minutes, and we would have had a drink and left. Also, why post on the website that you close at 2 a.m. if you actually close at 11 p.m.? What if people arrive after 11p.m.? Needless to say, we walked out after experiencing such unwelcoming service.

The service here has become disappointingly slow, and the staff’s attitude is unprofessional. On a recent visit, one bartender (a white male with dark hair) made unnecessary comments to me and my friend about “being nice in a bar,” despite no disrespect on our part. He also remarked on our tip amount—something no customer should have to hear—especially given the extremely slow service. I’ve been a regular here in the past, but this experience was enough to make me stop coming back. Customers deserve good service, not unsolicited lectures from staff.
