I absolutely love Alfalfa! But they’re taking the Dear Darla salad off the menu. Please reconsider. I love that salad!

This is one of those rare places where you would chop off one of your fingers to have a location in your area. Please come to Philly! But seriously the Peruvian salad was so good, such amazing dressing and fresh lettuce, and likewise the salmon entrée was so good. Flavors on everything were sensational. Hard to believe this was at a takeout counter type of place.Amazingly healthy and even good dessert if you wanted to indulge afterwards.

So happy I found this place! Having celiac sucks and ever since Wildflour closed a few years ago, gluten free baked goods are hard to find. Their GF donuts are to die for! I have loved my wraps each visit as well and it’s so nice to get food with plenty of veggies so I feel great after the meal and can walk around Princeton. Wish I could find these everywhere when I travel!

Great salads that you can get in a wrap, feels like a healthy way of getting a fast lunch. The Buffalo Goddess was very tasty and mildly spicy. The waiters were very nice, would return

Cutest pink shop ever! The breakfast burrito and blueberry smoothie are so so incredible. Love the vegetarian options. The service is great too. Highly recommend!

I like their breakfast burrito! I would prefer that over their salads or wraps personally. It tastes good, they’re not too expensive, and the store itself is very cute. Nice place to catch up with friends.

I love the food, however, eating in is a bit stressful. It is very loud (not their fault, all the high-school students were there) . The music should be lowered as well, or perhaps a more soothing playlist. I think the loud music forces people to practically shout to each other.

I was in yesterday for lunch and I was extremely impressed with the service and the employees on shift who went above and beyond to make the experience enjoyable. The salad (Greek with chicken) was also delicious

My wife and I each ordered the Buffalo Goddess salads with dressing on the side. We also split the brownie dessert. Both were absolutely delicious. However, soon after finishing the meal we both experienced the need to drink vast amounts of water. By the time we arrived home we could not remove our wedding rings because of water retention. After an unpleasant night of sleep we both continued to be bloated with an elevated heart rate. Experience tells us that the food contained MSG or an abundance of salt - neither are good for your health.
Very sorry to report this as we thought the overall experience was great. Beware to those with sensitivity to MSG or salt.
Hoping the manager/owner will reply to this review and advise on the accuracy of our findings.

This has become my go-to lunch spot during the workweek—whether I’m dining in or grabbing food to go. The Poblano Chicken Market Plate is my favorite: fresh, clean, healthy, and super filling with generous portions. The salad options are just as good!
What really makes this place special is the care they put into everything. Jay is the heart of Alfafa—always welcoming, kind, and attentive. The manager is just as thoughtful, checking in to make sure everything’s great. You can feel the pride they take in what they do.
A truly lovely team and a gem of a spot! So happy Alfafa is in Princeton. 🩷

Absolutely love Alfalfa – and Jay makes it even better!
Every time I visit Alfalfa, the food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. But what really sets this place apart is the people – especially Jay, who is without a doubt one of the most genuine and caring individuals I’ve ever encountered at any restaurant.
Jay goes above and beyond to make every customer feel welcomed and seen. Whether it’s remembering your order, offering helpful recommendations, or simply checking in with a warm smile, he truly brings heart to the Alfalfa experience. You can tell he deeply cares about both the food and the community.
It’s rare to find someone who treats every guest like family, and Jay does just that. If you stop by, I hope you get to meet him – it’ll make your day.
Highly recommend this spot, not just for the delicious food, but for the people like Jay who make it feel like home.
