If this place doesn't change, they aren't going to make it. I had a very disappointing experience when I came in to get a simple dozen bagels. Immediately, I noticed the prices were crossed out in electrical tape? What are they hidding? I asked the cashier why the prices were covered and they acted confused. They proceeded to call over another employee which told me they are ABOUT $1.70/bagel? About? How do you not know how much a dozen is off the top of your head? Some sort of shady business going on there. I walked out before they ripped me off and I won't be going back.

Bagels have changed over the years. Used to be my favorite place to go and now the bagels are unrecognizable. Something needs to change.

Friendly service and atmosphere, clean bathrooms. But my plain omelette and coffee were not tasty. :(

This is by far my favorite bagel shop. No other bagel shop beats Bagel Barn. Their bagels are always fresh, warm, and delicious that I even opt to eat them without spreads sometimes. Also, Orlando and his employees are so kind, helpful, and provide wonderful service to their customers! The store is so warm and welcoming and it is nice to start off your morning there. Happy to be a long-time customer of theirs.

I can't recommend this place anymore. This was once my favorite bagel place in New Jersey. I would drive up to an hour once I had moved away from the area. It stopped tasting the same. So I stopped going. I gave it one more shot today to see if maybe I got a bad batch of bagels. Sadly I didn't. The bagels are no longer perfection. They seem more like corner store bodega crappy bagels. Most of them are now flat and have an odd taste and no longer have that airy bouncy crispy chew that I miss.
The staff is always extremely nice, and they do work hard. But there was a time when you couldn't get into the place on a Saturday or Sunday morning, and now it was pretty slow when I stopped at 10am on a beautiful sunny Saturday.

I order through DoorDash and usually on Sundays. Never have I been disappointed . My usual fare is a bagel with cream cheese, a muffin, an apple pastry, egg whites on a bagel, and another hot breakfast sandwich. Five stars all around. NEVER a mistake . NEVER. Love this place. .

Outstanding food. The seasoning on the bagels is on point, the cold cuts are all Boars Head and sliced just so. The pickles are some of the best pickles I've ever tasted, and the portion sizes are extremely generous. Staff is friendly too. Strongly recommend trying this place.

The food, service and atmosphere here are all top notch! The employees are always friendly and do a great job. I’ve never had a long wait to get my order even when it’s very busy. They have computer kiosks which is a huge plus if the line to order backs up or you just don’t feel like human interaction. Most importantly, the food is legitimately delicious and the portions are pretty good. You won’t leave hungry.
They’re on the pricier side but that’s not unusual for the area. If you dine in, there’s plenty of room to sit down. Everything is very clean including the bathrooms (so important since that’s easily overlooked!)
So why not 5 stars? Their hours! They don’t open until 7:30am. That’s really late for a business that sells itself as a breakfast place. This place would make a killing if they opened earlier to cater to the early morning work crowd. I’ve had to bypass this place for their competition a 2 minute drive down the road, which is also very worth checking out.

Has to be the best spot in central NJ (at minimum) french toast bagel unparalleled. I would want baba's to be better because it's closer to me, but it's just not. Got the bagel with lox on it once to treat myself and my gf. It was pricier but it was extremely fresh

I just bought a chicken salad sandwich that was terrible. There were only two bites of chicken salad on it and the bread was stale and as dry as dust do not order a sandwich on rye bread unless you enjoy stale bread
