Fresh bread makes the sandwiches extra special
The Hot Bobbie is a Must-Try!
Absolutely love this place! The Hot Bobbie is my go-to and it never disappoints. Imagine all the best parts of Thanksgiving dinner, perfectly layered in a fresh, soft roll. The ingredients are always fresh and delicious. Service is quick and the staff is super friendly. The restaurant is consistently clean, too. Can't recommend it enough!
Title: Outstanding Catering Experience – Fresh, Flavorful, and Heartfelt Hospitality
Capriotti’s delivered an incredible catering experience for my event on June 4th, 2025. Every dish was fresh, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared—the kind of quality that speaks for itself. Our guests couldn’t get enough, and everything was enjoyed down to the last bite!
A special appreciation goes to Jimit Dhariya, whose exceptional hospitality made the experience even more memorable. His dedication to delivering the best is truly commendable, and his warmth and professionalism reflect a deep commitment not just to great service, but to the local community as well. It’s clear that Capriotti’s values more than just great food—they embody the spirit of genuine care and connection.
If you’re looking for a catering experience that combines top-tier flavors with a team that truly values its customers, Capriotti’s is a fantastic choice. Highly recommended, and well worth supporting!
Saw ad on ig looked like my kinda sloppy sandwich glad I ordered very good not salty not bland just right, ingredients FRESH. I added more ranch because it personally like my sandwiches damn near slathered
Love the Bobbie.
My girlfriend and I find ourselves at the Princeton location here quite often.. everyone here are amazing.. we always order ahead and have not had one single issue after about twenty orders.. (Capriotti’s much)lol
Beats hoagie haven as I have had multiple issues with them since change of ownership.
The ones saying that service is terrible, blah blah blah.. maybe if you don’t DoorDash it you can guarantee that it won’t be soggy or cold and a possible soda tip over…
Keep it up! See you soon!
Really fantastic sandwiches! Everything is fresh and good quality. We got the Cole Turkey and thought it was just cold cuts, but it’s actual real turkey meat. Also the French fries must be cut on premise because they were delicious. Will definitely be back!
I saw a new sub shop in the shopping center and decided to try it out. I got a chicken cheesesteak with hot peppers, BBQ sauce, lettuce, and tomatoes, it was flavorful and delicious. The staff was great, and the atmosphere was amazing. Highly recommend!

Small portions, slow service and poor quality for the price
Ordered turkey sandwich and wagyu French dip. Both were small portions, dry, and lacked lots of flavor even dipping the one in the sauce. They were in my opinion overpriced, and not high quality like you’d expect from a “gourmet” sub shop even if it is a chain. The turkey also had a bone in it.

We decided to stop in for some sandwiches after picking up our little girl some cat food from the same plaza. What a great treat this is. The sandwiches are delicious as well as the tomato bisques. The service was great too felt like family!!
I can’t comment on the atmosphere but my office ordered lunch from here and it was so delicious. Some had salads, some had sandwiches but everyone loved their lunch. I had the capastromi and it was delicious! This will definitely be on our company’s lunch list!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop in Princeton, and I can confidently say it’s a fantastic addition to the local dining scene. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that immediately set the tone for a great experience. The staff here truly go above and beyond to make you feel at home. Special shoutout to Jimit Dharia, who did an excellent job ensuring our order was handled perfectly, and Reginald Jackson, whose friendly and professional service made our visit even more enjoyable. It’s clear that the team takes pride in what they do, and that level of care really shines through.
The food at Capriotti’s is what makes this place stand out. The menu is diverse, offering something for everyone, from classic subs to unique creations you won’t find anywhere else. I tried their signature sandwich, The Bobbie®, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. Featuring slow-roasted turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing, and mayo on freshly baked bread, it’s like Thanksgiving dinner in sandwich form—comforting, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying. Every ingredient tasted fresh and high-quality, which is something I always appreciate in a sandwich shop.
Another standout was their Wagyu Cheese Steak, a luxurious twist on the classic cheesesteak. The tender Wagyu beef paired with melted cheese on an Amoroso roll was rich and indulgent without feeling overly heavy. For vegetarians or those looking for plant-based options, the Impossible™ Cheese Steak is a fantastic alternative that doesn’t compromise on flavor or texture. It’s great to see Capriotti’s offering options that cater to different dietary preferences without cutting corners on taste.
What impressed me most about Capriotti’s was the attention to detail in every aspect of the meal. The bread was soft yet sturdy enough to hold up against hearty fillings without falling apart—a small but important detail that shows their commitment to quality. The portions are generous as well; you definitely get your money’s worth here.
Speaking of pricing, while some might find it slightly higher than your average sandwich shop (a meal typically costs $15-$17), I believe it’s justified given the premium ingredients and portion sizes. You’re not just paying for convenience—you’re paying for a thoughtfully crafted meal that feels like it was made with care.
The ambiance of the shop is another highlight. Located in the Princeton Shopping Center, Capriotti’s offers a clean, modern, and inviting space that’s perfect for both quick lunches and casual dinners with family or friends. While it operates as a fast-casual restaurant, there’s a sense of pride and professionalism here that elevates the experience beyond what you’d expect from a typical sandwich spot.
If I had one small critique, it would be that during peak hours there can be a bit of a wait since everything is made fresh to order. However, I’d much rather wait a few extra minutes for food of this quality than settle for something rushed or pre-made.
Overall, Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop in Princeton is an excellent choice if you’re looking for fresh, flavorful sandwiches made with high-quality ingredients. Whether you’re craving something classic like a turkey sub or looking to try one of their more unique creations like The Bobbie®, you won’t be disappointed. The combination of great food, friendly service from people like Jimit Dharia and Reginald Jackson, and a welcoming atmosphere makes this place stand out from other sandwich shops in the area.
**Pro Tip:** If you’re visiting for the first time, definitely try The Bobbie®—it’s their signature item for good reason! Also, don’t hesitate to ask the staff for recommendations; they’re knowledgeable about the menu and happy to help you find something you’ll love. Arrive early if possible—it can get busy during peak hours!
