This is a great little cozy spot. We heard the pizza was worth checking out and it was delicious (thin crust fans will love it). It's not a fancy place but you feel right at home with the friendly staff.

Classic hang out spot. Busy saturday evening. Full of people game on big tv. Pizza very floppy yet crispy, like you need to fold it or support the end of the pie super crispy crust very greasy.

We heard great things but found this.to be a major disappointment. The dough lacks any life - poor flour. The yeast gave up the ghost a while ago. The wine is $16 a glass. That makes no sense for the profile of this place. People deserve better.

I had heard so much about Conte’s Pizza from a NJ native who had been going for all his life, and got a takeout of one large sausage and pepperoni pizza.
The pepperoni was very unique (in a good way) in that I’ve never had this style before having tried a lot of pizzas in different countries. The sausage was crumbled evenly and the pizza base had a nice crust. Would love to go get some pizza again 😊

I called about 30 minutes before arriving to get an idea of how busy the restaurant might be. The person who answered the phone was extremely short and dismissive. He gave one-word answers, sounding annoyed, and unwilling to give even a basic estimate. My brother had called earlier and got the exact same attitude. I even asked how busy it was right now, and was told I’d have to come in to find out.

The pizza here has been great in the past, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Really let down by how rude the person on the phone was. Customer service matters, and this was not it.

The best pizza near campus in my opinion. With a short bike ride, Conte’s pizza looks and tastes amazing. I loved their plain and pepperoni pizzas, as well as its nice under carriage. Will be coming back a lot in the spring!

I am a 40 year resident. Conte still has a fun school cafeteria atmosphere. But Conte’s pricing reflects a 4-5 star restaurant. It’s doughy, dry & wheres the cheese ??? Teresa’s and D’Angelo have better tasting pizza with real italian tasting sauce & mozzarella. The bar house wine was $16 !!!! Wowa. I get 9oz quality wine for $14 at bonefish grill 8, teresa’s, season 52, & at Eddie V.
I was ripped off. Its not even a dive bar. Its a cafeteria with dirty floors & bathroom
