Hi i just picked up a take out order and didnt receive any sauces like the hot sauce and tahini at the side , that usually always comes with the food. This is the third time that this has happened at this location and it is the last. Let me just choke on my dry ass falafel sandwich and french fries with no garlic sauce. New Brunswick location never disappoints but this one always does. Best

I visited the place a couple of weeks ago, and when we arrived a bit late, we were only interested in trying some Turkish sweets. However, we were informed that we couldn't order Turkish kunefe without getting a meal first. Unlike other restaurants I frequent, where ordering just dessert is common, this was a unique experience for me. I suspect they may have thought we wouldn't tip if we only ordered dessert. Overall, it was a bit unusual, and based on my experience, I wouldn't necessarily recommend it.

My boyfriend and I stopped in for a late lunch on Friday 12/29/23. We received a lukewarm greeting from “hostess” who immediately grabbed a stack of menus from a table by the door against the wall and told us to sit. We requested to sit at a table towards the back and was informed that was NOT possible. We ordered our food and beverage. Never received my Diet Coke nor two glasses of ice, waiter only brought one glass. A party of 5 arrived, also requesting the back table. They were refused as well. Next thing we know, they sat this party next to us, only to disrupt our meal and move tables apart. We had to stop eating to remove our coats and shopping bags from the chair next to me. There was plenty of room in this small now empty restaurant to sit this party away from us. Food was excellent. Waiter brought out the bill and charged us $2.50 plus tax for a can of soda we never received. Asked to have check redone removing the charge. Waiter brings us a can of Diet Coke and a baklava on the house. Check came back unchanged. At this point, my boyfriend and I were not happy customers. We left the restaurant without his “freebies” and hoped they would’ve corrected the bill. I had to call the place a couple of times to get that charge removed. Will NEVER go back there due to the horrible customer service we received.

10/10 recommended! The food was delicious. The staff was so lovely, especially Zelal. She made sure we had a great experience. If you ever happen to crave Turkish food around this area ( or in general) please check it out :)

This is my second time visiting the restaurant. The first visit was amazing but the service was terrible. The waitress was not friendly and she didn’t come back and check on us. We were the only family in the restaurant. I am extremely disappointed because the food was actually good. The waitress provided a sour experience. My daughter tried to explain that maybe the waitress was having a bad day. I won’t be back.

Even though that food was very good, and service was pretty fast, I and my family were disappointed for some shady overcharging. We paid using a card, and when signing I left the particular amount of tips for my own convenience, not the percentage amount that was advised. As this the best method for me to keep an eye on my spending. So, long story short, even though I left very good amount of tips, they still charged me additional three dollars. As you already get this,it was our last time there. Dirty games is not the place in proper business.

I actually like the food in this place but prefer take out due to the rudeness of the staff. This is a consistent problem with lack of friendliness and customer service for years. Many locals also comment on this and my most recent experience with friends proved that. If you are going out to eat, you don't want to feel like a burden. Even on a Weds night, not peak times, the staff talks down to you. I won't be coming back to dine in again.

I placed an online food order and thought it would be a nice idea to enjoy it at their outdoor tables. To my surprise, a worker promptly asked me to leave (while im eating), stating that I should have ordered in person. The worker told me to eat THEIR food at a neighboring restaurant's table. Keep in mind that there were plenty of empty EFES tables at the moment. This experience left me feeling unwelcome and undervalued as a customer.

I have been going here for a few years and it is always fantastic food. I don’t even like lamb, but the lamb shish is delicious here and it is what I order every time. There are good vegetarian options too. Whether you are from the Middle East or never tried Mediterranean/Middle Eastern food before, there is something here for you. The staff are super nice and accommodating.

Great service, food, and menu. I love the small shop vibes this business gives off. Highly recommend the soup of the day along with the stuffed grape leaves!

I recently dined at this restaurant, and unfortunately, I cannot recommend it. The quality of the chicken dish I ordered was extremely disappointing. It was dry and tasteless, far from what I expected. To make matters worse, the restaurant automatically included the tip in the bill without seeking my permission. This lack of transparency was frustrating. I believe customers should have the choice to decide the tip amount based on the quality of service they receive. Moreover, the service was subpar. The staff never came to our table to check if everything was alright, and we felt neglected throughout the meal.

Great food, I got the shish lamb kebab and it came with rice, lamb, and salad. The rice was out of this world delicious, and the lamb was tenderly cooked. On top of that, they provided 2 sauces, 1 tzatziki and 1 spicy. Free pita bread and glass of water was generous at the start of my meal. They were kind enough to provide me a menu, and let me eat outside as well which was very nice. The restaurant is located on what seems to be like in a small suburban neighborhood pretty peaceful and quiet. However, it is pretty close to 1 of the major Ivy League Universities of all time since 1742, Princeton University located here in Princeton, New Jersey. Definitely recommend visiting there as well, the campus is voluminously spectacular filled with giant buildings and tons of students from all over the world. Great restaurant, near a great university, only naturally leads to a great review!

My first time here. I consider myself semi-picky. I had the lunch special and had chicken kebab. It was sooooooo good. When we got there there was only 1 other person. Our food was served fast, the service was great. Soon after we got our food within 15 mins the whole place inside was full. The tables outside were getting filled as well. For a very good reason it's a popular place. We went on a Wednesday around 1130am. I would totally come back and I would venture out to try a different menu item. There's parking in the back of the building which is nice. Also paid parking on the street which when I came in I easily found one. But I parked in the back.
