The food was ordinary & passable at best, and not worth the money. Bland and lacked flavor - at least it wasn't spicy. They did have a VERY wide variety of options, except no Dahi Vada. They pretty much offered any style vada, even ones I was not familiar with, except simple dahi vada which is what I was there for. Masala chai was on the menu but when I tried to order it, they didn't have it. It was downhill from there.
Staff seemed disinterested and disorganized, except for the one enthusiastic dude who lent me his phone since they have no printed menu; wish I got his name for special praise. Uncomfortable chairs. This place is more suitable for socializing or meetups, and not really food & atmosphere (which consisted of dance-beat music). Felt sort of like I was in an airport concourse. Might try again with friends (visited solo this time) now that I know what to expect. Will bring earplugs next time, though, and my phone.

Everything is great at Godavari. I love all the bread they do.
Ordered rasam soup, chicken afgani and biriyani.. Food: The rasam was not good, was top spicy, not well balanced. Would rather recommend a2b for rasam just 3 miles away. The afgani chicken was bland, not well balanced in flavors. Biriyani was okay.
Service is poor, they don't know how to serve properly. The waiters just come and keep yhe food on one corner of the table and walk away without serving spoons or telling what it is.

The dishonesty of this business is aligned with the poor service. We waited 15 min for our order to be taken, and then another 45 min for a dosa before we ended up leaving without eating! The manager said the kitchen was busy with take out orders. My kids were starving!
The restaurant was empty. The walls are dirty and paint coming off. For the amount of people working at this place, the service is horrendous. Stay away from this Indian restaurant.
