ice cream is fine but not so fresh
Cute ice cream shop (with hot drink options cos it was wayyy too cold for ice cream) I went in the afternoon, it was quiet and perfect for a chat with a friend!
Bent Spoon is better but still some quality cream at Halo Pub.
Went there for ice-cream and employees said they dont do samples anymore. Quality had fallen too much, used to be a good spot.
Brandon helped us so much
No samples is annoying and really takes away from the customer experience. Ice cream was good and less expensive than most other places.
Pains me to give this review. Love halo farms ice cream but this location sucks. No free samples, out of the best flavor, entire vibe in there was glum. If in that area, go to the main site in Trenton that place is great
Hate to leave a bad review, but I feel obligated. Polite young staff, but zero training from the owner. When you meet the owner, you'll understand why. She is a very ignorant and rude old lady. I've been there several times because the ice cream is great, but anytime I've seen the owner there, the employees are miserable and the owner is extremely rude to her employees and the customers.
Very sugary ice cream that will give you osmotic diarrhea. They don’t know how to make specialty coffees either.
on par with Bent Spoon with much less wait

Awesome staff
Best ice cream in Princeton
It’s sort of a tradition that you get ice cream when you visit Princeton. The line is always way too long and the service is slow. But the ice cream is good so I’m a slave to Halo Pub.
We went to Halo Pub as we were told by our friends to try this most recommended ice cream shop in Princeton. It was a Saturday night and about a 40min wait in line and we endured it because we wanted to try the best ice cream in town.
So as we got in the shop, all excited with wide open eyes and wanted to try their flavors, we were told that they don’t allow anyone to try any of their flavors….company policy!! That was a bummer! And not to shame them but quite honestly this was probably the first ice cream shop that I have been to in my life which did not allow tasting flavors. 😭
So I went with my time tested pistachio ice cream and it turned out to be just average. I don’t think it was made as ground up pistachio ice cream. It tasted like they put pistachios in a very creamy vanilla ice cream.
Other than that…there is a limited sit in area inside the shop which me and my folks used. But be aware that there may be other people waiting on you to vacate that seat. So when you finish your ice cream, get up and leave 😜
Delicious ice cream and a large number of options. Only downside is that they don’t do samples.
