This place reminds me of Rutgers grease trucks or Cherry Valley in LI.
Think greasy spoon hoagies - so you know what territory of "sandwich" you're getting into.
We got the Sanchez (chicken, mozz sticks and I opted for no fries) and the cheesesteak (not like the real Philly cheesesteak but still pretty tasty with extra cheese).
Only takeout available, and a half size was plenty enough for us!

Food is pretty decent, however, I did not appreciate how the workers in there were blatantly staring at me and speaking in a foreign language, then another one of them would turn an look right at me while they were speaking. Kind words or not, it's not okay.

Just had their classic Italian Hoagie. Not a lot of meat.☹️This Jersey Girl was NOT impressed. But the staff were super nice.

They just throw the veggies on ya sandwich. They don't put the oil and vinegar on the lettuce and tomatoes. They put it on bottom of bread and it makes the bread all soggy and the veggies dry. Layer the sandwich right. This is a quantity over quality type of place. Smh. Thumbs down!!!!!

Used to be my go-to in downtown Princeton for delicious hot sandwiches. This time I was a bit underwhelmed. I got a philly cheesesteak but there was barely any cheese or steak. My family also got sandwiches that were mostly bread. It looked like those who got cold sandwiches got more food. Maybe we should’ve gotten cold sandwiches…

Sub shop that doesn't sell yellow American cheese? Loss of star. Good value, tastes fine.
Sad sad sandwich.
Good quality dropped drastically, they increased the prices , well inflation, but to barely have any meat in the sandwich and just lettuce and tomatoes , very disappointing

DECENTLY PRICY. I won't lie, any food place where one item could cost nearly twenty dollars if you round gets scrutiny from me. Hoagie Haven delivers, but a footlong being 16 dollars is insane. Regardless, they delivered greatly both times I went. Just the price was very off-putting.
Parking: Street parking can be difficult to find here because it's right next to Princeton University.

You can't eat inside..😏
Did takeout. No points for service or atmosphere. Food is legendary, particularly cheese steaks, dirty Sanchez and Phat ladies. They are still consistently good and reasonably priced. Parking here is scarce and metered. Princeton meter services constantly on the prowl and happy to ticket expired meters.

I have been going here for over 10+ years and I have nothing bad to say. The service is fast and gets every order correct! The food is delicious no matter what you get! I finish my food every time, no crumbs left!

I got the Sanchez hoagie. I went in with much anticipation of a local, hole-in-the-wall staple. I was pleasantly surprised. The portion was humongous!!! And the sandwich is soooo good fresh and hot. One thing I wish I’d done was ask or pay for some more sauce. The Sanchez sauce is unique but a little scant so maybe a side of hot sauce or something would have made it an 11/10 rather than the 10/10. The price is seriously good. It could be worse but it’s not. I would definitely be a regular. I see the hype! It would be really good when you have a case of the drunchies. ;) (also their vanilla cream soda was pretty good. Not overly sweet. Enough vanilla taste. Very pleasant. Note: bottle cap twists off. No bottle opener necessary.) no pictures.
