Try the gingerbread men! Buttery with tones of molasses. Possibly the best I've ever had. The strawberry shortcake cupcake was great also.

Largest selection of cupcakes I’ve ever seen with all kinds of flavors but sadly only 5 vegan options. They’re good though!

i really like this place but the last time i went i noticed when i got home that an earring was in my cupcake in the frosting. i love when they come to linvilla i just wish they checked something like that before giving it to a customer. i already threw the earring out before taking a pic because i wasn’t gonna say anything but something like that is important.

The chocolate truffle cupcake was the best I've ever had! And it was late at night and still fresh.

Was there on Sunday asked for a cupcake with no decoration on top, store worker rolled her eyes then went in the back to have some one ice three cupcakes and they came out with hardly any icing on them. When I asked if they could put on just a tiny bit more the worker took the time to put a glove on take a cupcake off the wall and compared them !! I paid and walked out and will NEVER return. So a tiny bit of icing to please a customer cost you a customer.

I was very confused as they tasted like boxed cake mix. Do they use boxed mix? Employees very friendly and professional.

They have a lot of cupcake options, both fruity and chocolate. I think the fruit options are really good. Obviously since it’s a dessert place they’re very sweet, but I think I prefer cupcake slightly less sweet

I was visiting Princeton from Boston area and stopped in. Bought a half dozen to take home. These are honestly the best cupcakes I may have ever had in my life. Flavors are amazing and so moist! The rainbow cookie cupcake was incredible and so unique. I wish I lived closer!!

I this is a takeout cupcake place. They had five types of cupcakes when I visited. The vegan cupcake I had was a vanilla cupcake with chocolate icing (called he Vanilla Birthday) it was quite nice. Updated from previous review on 2025-06-28

The house of cupcakes has moved to another location in Princeton. Wish I knew this before, didn't have to come back without my favorite cupcakes. Next time, very soon!

Had to throw away the Dulce de Leche, it was simply unbearably sweet, and doesn't taste good at all either. The Tres Leches was better, still too sweet, but reasonably good otherwise. The walnut cookie was dry and has a bit powdery/sugary texture. Nothing stood out about it. Certainly not worth the price tag. Many places make better cookies for cheaper prices. Overall very disappointed.
