Kiseki pancakes are great! The strawberry one is a little too sweet for me, tried the regular fruit one and I thought it was perfect so will get that next time. Only complaint is it does take a while to get the food so not a good option if you’re in a rush. Super difficult to find street parking but there is a cheap parking garage a 1/2 block down to the left

Surprise! Found a new place in town. Feel good vibe place, light and airy, friendly service. I had the Kiseki pancakes they were able to make in Lemon Ricotta and tried the iced hojicha latte. Perfect switch up for weekend breakfast. I will definitely visit again to try other menu items.

We drove an hour to visit J.S. Foodies Tokyo, excited to try their highly praised kiseki pancakes and brunch menu. While the experience had some incredible highlights, a few issues kept it from being a perfect five-star visit.

Let’s start with the good—the Strawberry Kiseki Pancakes. They were absolutely phenomenal! Light, fluffy, and paired with fresh strawberries and cream, these soufflé-style pancakes were unlike anything we’ve ever had. They truly lived up to the hype and are a must-try for anyone visiting.

Unfortunately, the regular pancakes fell short. They were dry and lacked the same magic as the kiseki pancakes, which was disappointing given the restaurant’s pancake reputation. We also ordered the Eggs Benedict, and while the flavors were solid, the yolk was ice cold, which took away from the overall enjoyment of the dish.

On a brighter note, the ambiance was warm and welcoming, with a modern yet cozy vibe. The staff was attentive, checking on us often and making sure we had everything we needed. Their friendly demeanor added to the overall experience.

Despite the inconsistency with some menu items, J.S. Foodies Tokyo still offers a unique brunch experience, especially if you’re there for the kiseki pancakes. They’re worth the trip, but be prepared for some room for improvement with other dishes.

The food was only alright because it was really just like kind of basic tasting but that might just be me. The service was good but pretty slow. Atmosphere was nice though.

There is a sense that the food is made with love (an ingredient long lacking and forgotten in our times of capitalism).

My husband and I dined here for our anniversary this year. We of course got the famous pancakes and they were delicious. Be prepared to pay more for this dish though....we only ordered pancakes, no drinks as water is provided. Our bill was around $45.

Cozy little spot in Princeton. This restaurant is busy and parking is not always available. The food was delicious and the star of the menu being the Japanese pancakes. We had ordered a fish and chips meal, a crispy chicken sandwich and the Japanese pancake meal (this order has a thick layer of cream and is served with chocolate and regular syrup). All 3 were delicious and highly recommended. Total for all 3 meals including tip was $78 and some change.

The pancakes are a bit much but still enjoyable. Better to share as it is rich. The real star is the chicken and waffles!!! I could eat this all the time. Best chicken and waffles in town.

Cozy little spot perfect for quick bites or sitting for a while. Food excellent but pricy. Definitely worth the 45 min drive for the kisecki pancakes and Princeton is a cute little area filled with shops.

A 40 MINUTE wait for the soufflé pancakes if that’s all you’re coming for. Do NOT order anything else. It also wasn’t as busy for it being breakfast. We ordered the eggs Benedict and chicken and waffles. The chicken looked and tasted like it was cooked in old grease. The eggs tasted foul and all the food came out cold. A cute photo op moment, but the rest of the food is nasty and overpriced.
