Last night my family dined at La Mezzaluna and it was absolutely fantastic! We had a last-minute addition to guests and the staff created a memorable meal for everyone. . The menu offered a wonderful variety of classic dishes, each prepared with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors. The staff was attentive and friendly, making sure every need was met with a smile. Overall, this restaurant is a true gem for anyone craving delicious Italian cuisine and a warm, inviting atmosphere....
I like Al-dente pasta but mine could have used just another minute boiling, and the sauce was thin, ran off the noodle too quickly on the vodka sauce. The cannelloni had all the right elements but the flavors were off the mark a bit. The homemade crepe was dry on the ends that were not covered with the mozzarella when baked so they were hard and inedible. The chicken parm looked wonderful as did the fish special at the table next to us.
The tables are very close together and it's very loud. The food was delicious. The service was great. Felt a little rushed at the end, but there was a very large weight so that was probably the reason. It's a very good value for downtown Princeton.
