WAITER IS RUDE AND DEMANDS TIPS: Went there a few months ago with a friend and the waiter was very dismissive toward us as soon as we walked in. During our meal, he kept ignoring us and tending to other tables, and would appear annoyed anytime we asked for something. Due to the poor service, my friend and I agreed to not give a tip. When the bill came, the waiter demanded that we give him a tip, and said he deserved it because we kept asking for things. Keep in mind, all we asked for were napkins and extra dipping sauce. He was causing a scene as other tables were keening in on this interaction, but we ultimately just paid our bill and left. I would hate to think that this was a race thing, but all the signs pointed toward this being a micro-aggression.

Foods was great. Split an order of dumplings, cucumber pork belly rolls, a Lanzhou noodles. All great. Two things lowered my rating. First, I have researched the difference in costs to the restaurant of cash vs credit. Cash either costs the same (how many times is it counted - costs money, counterfeit, lost or swiped bills, transport to bank are the most obvious), and typically credit costs less. Then was a bit annoyed when the tip was cleared from the table while we were standing next to it putting on our coats. A lovely experience until the end, and would recommend the food.

Had dinner here The place was full but the servers were quick to find us some seats when available I tried the ramen and it was delicious, very good size as well Spicy but enjoyable My son had a pork dish and he enjoyed it

Hand-pulled noodles piqued my interest in this place, especially after reading all the positive reviews on Google. I visit with my husband for lunch while we’re in the area. It didn’t disappoint! The braised beef noodle soup was delicious, and so was my husband’s lunch. My appetizer arrived while I was still eating my main course, but I didn’t mind because the portion was generous. I’ll definitely be back with my family. The menu offers so many delicious options that I’m eager to try more in my next visit.

Another splendid evening spent with the family at Lan Ramen. We got a walk in seat - pleasantly unusual. The ramens came out quickly bit were still well cooked and broth had freshly made taste. The biggest hit was the cumin lamb - perfect harmony of cumin and chilly flavor with the water cress adding depth.
