My second time dining at Laurea's. The food is good and the service is attentive but not overbearing
I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner. We had. 5 PM reservation and we were some of the first to dine. It was so quiet I could enjoy having a conversation with my wife. The food was fresh and so hot we had to give it a few minutes before we could eat. I would go back in a heartbeat
Food was delicious just a little small portions for the amount they charge . Especially the desserts were very small
This is a very nice place and has good food. The live music was amazing. People working there very gentle.
Had we known the restaurant was in a Hyatt Hotel, we would have never booked it. It was loud and lacking any character. Not a traditional Italian eatery but just a feeding station in the lobby or a hotel. While the food was good, there was zero atmosphere other than that of a hotel.
Don't let the picture on the website fool you - Laurea does not have a wood fired oven for the pizza. The restaurant is basically what one has come to expect for a hotel by the highway dining room. Everything is OK, nothing is great. Service was friendly but a lot of things were forgotten. If you are staying there and don't want to venture out, it's fine. but I wouldn't make a trip to go there.
The food was excellent, as was our waitress Sabina. The seats were comfortable, and the mixed drinks were strong and tasty. Overall, we had an excellent experience and will be back!
What a really nice spot for a great meal. Service was exceptional and the restaurant staff were wonderful as well! We had the meatballs and burrata for appetizers. All the pasta is made fresh there and was delicious. Oh and the drinks were fantastic too! Would absolutely go back!
Rose was amazing and put me to the best short rib dish (very generous serving of very tender short rib, truffle pasta, spinach, and ball of burrata cheese) I've ever had! We're from out of town and staying visiting Princeton for the kiseki pancakes at JS Foodies but gave Laurea a try while staring at the Hyatt Regency and we will definitely be back!
We had a reservation for a party of 6 for 10:30 on a Sunday morning. Our reservation was confirmed twice yet when we arrived, we were told to wait while a table was set up in a practically empty restaurant. We arrived at 10:20 and the other 3 people in our party hadn't arrived yet. We were told that the kitchen closes at 11:00 so that we shouldn't wait for the rest of our family. By the way, Open Table indicated a slot for an 11:00 reservation so the restaurant obviously wanted to close earlier due to lack of customers. Our family members arrived and we quickly gave our orders. The food was good but nothing special. This so-called restaurant is nothing more than a a hotel coffee shop. Don't expect a special experience or a warm welcome- so disappointing!

Food is very tasty, a little on the pricy side but it is the Hyatt and it is freshed and cooked to order. Especially like the pizzas and Chicken sandwich

Stayed at the Hyatt, came down from breakfast. The breakfast buffet is the breakfast buffet, and the menu is the menu. No one came to attend to us after we got in, so we had to grab a few extra sets of utensils missing from our table ourselves and sat for a long time before someone asked if we were getting the buffet.
No mention of the breakfast menu (and no signage either), so it was only after the majority of the people at the table got their food did I realize that the waitress to the table next to us was taking orders for breakfast, so I asked her after she was done if I could order something. Yes, I did end up with an omelet that was a great start to my day, but I also ended up with a bill for both my omelet (over twenty dollars!) and also the buffet.
There were only four of us at the table, and this breakfast had a bill of almost a hundred dollars. Was the food good? Yeah. Was the resulting receipt horrifying? Yeah...
That being said, it's pretty tasty food if you go by hotel standards.

We dined at Laurea in the Princeton Hyatt Regency because I had 5400 Hyatt points that were going to expire the next day. I discovered that I could redeem 5000 points for $50 credit at a Hyatt dining location. So on a whim, we tried the closest Hyatt location which was Laurea. We we very pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent - Flat Iron Steak and Swordfish main entrees - and the dessert - Lemon Cream Cake - were delicious. The server Ray was very friendly and attentive, and the ambience was more fresh and modern than expected, given that it's a relatively established hotel and the restaurant is in the center lobby. I highly recommend!
We’ve been here twice now and had a great experience both times. The food is delicious (homemade pasta is a must) and reasonably priced for what you’re getting. My fiancé and I agreed Christine was hands down the best server we’ve ever had. She was so knowledgeable, personable and fantastic about his nut allergy. Can’t wait to come back!

I have been here several times for special occasions. Their grand brunch on Mother's Day is good but a little costly (be sure to ask for drinks because they come with the price). I have also been here on Easter for their plated menu which was fine. Service is fine but a little rushed if you come on a special occasion. My understanding is, they no longer offer a special menu for Thanksgiving or Christmas (however, there are many other places in the area that do, Salt Creek Grille, KC Prime and Steakhouse 85).
