Best place to have Sushi at an affordable price. Hibachi option was also a good one for Vegetarian customers with no meat.

My wife and I are originally from Japan and have lived in the Princeton area for nearly twenty years. Masa Sushi has become one of our regular go-to restaurants. Not only is the quality of the food excellent, but we also enjoy the wide variety of offerings, including many types of sushi as well as other dishes. We especially like the crab salad, squid, and spicy salmon. We also love finishing our meal with ramen. The service is consistently pleasant, with attentive and friendly staff. Thank you, Masa sushi.

Slimy pile...blobby white goo all over the fish with odd spongy tissues inside. When flipped over many rolls had no visible fish- looked like someone just tucked a little fish in the top for appearances. Health/sanitary concerns for sure.

I think the sushi is pretty good. I like their mango roll the best, and they have lots of varieties no matter what you like including non sushi items. They have sushi, sashimi, udon, teriyaki, soups, other appetizers, and dessert. However, I think it’s slightly expensive for the sushi you’re getting. For each person is at least $33 before tips, and the quality of food is about average.

Feel discriminated as Asian. Came in 2pm for AYCE, only ordered one round of food and left hungry. Food was ok but the service was horrible. the short hair Asian waitress ignored us so many times after we signaled, and came to the table right next to us who happened to be Caucasian ask if they doing good how’s the food do you want anything else. Didn’t ask us even one time. No service at all. Plastic found in Sushi. Waited 30mins to get a bill could’ve just walked out.

Great food at a cheap price for all you can eat. Hard to read the menu but you don’t feel ashamed for eating too much because no one can see you clearly. Someone knows psychology and a phone flashlight does the rest 10/10 no notes.

Good quality Sashimis
Food was meh. Everything was dirty and sticky. The staff was scraping the grime out from the floor boards while I was eating and also handling food.. it was stomach-turning.

I asked for a container to take my spicy mayo home to eat it with my sushi (that I’ve already eaten from) . They told me if I wanted it I’d have to pay for it . I already ate from it and it’s technically paid for already. I found this ridiculous and money hungry of the owner my server had to ask her if I can have the mayo that was already mine . I would not go again to this restaurant again it also hurt my stomach. Let me take home some dry sushi that wasn’t even good.

Great all-you-can eat option! It’s more pricey but with sashimi, that’s to be expected. Ordering involves checking off boxes on a paper sheet and adding to your order requires fresh sheets.
The sashimi and orders were fresh and tasty!

Food was good, not great. We took my daughter there for her birthday because that's where she wanted to go. For me, I think I might have been better with a regular meal, not the all you can eat. I don't think I ate enough for $30.

The service is horrible.
The wait staff ignored us for close to 20 minutes after being seated. No one even passed by to offer us water. We signaled several times to get someone, anyone’s attention. When we got up to leave, they all came running over to serve us; we left regardless.

I tried Masa Sushi in Princeton, NJ, and while there were some positives, I left feeling a little underwhelmed.
The service was great, honestly the best part of the experience. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything ran smoothly. The all you can eat price is a little higher than other spots, but that is probably expected given it is in the Princeton area.
The restaurant itself is nicely decorated, but it is also very dark inside, so much so that it was hard to read the menu and even see the food clearly, and this was during the day when it was bright and sunny outside.
As for the food, the sushi rolls sound amazing on the menu but don’t taste as amazing as they look or sound. There is just something missing from each roll that leaves you wanting more flavor and balance. They also tend to have a higher ratio of rice to filling, which makes the rolls feel less special. On the positive side, the sashimi and the regular salmon pieces were fresh and enjoyable, and those stood out compared to the specialty rolls.
Overall, Masa Sushi is fine, but I probably would not recommend it as an all you can eat sushi place. If you do go, I would stick to the sashimi and classic pieces, and of course enjoy the excellent service.
