The eggplant lasagna, salmon tartar appetizer and espresso martinis were phenomenal. I’d go back any day!

The food is a little overpriced for some basic flavored food. The staff was pretty nice 5⭐ but the food could use a little more seasonings. I guess it makes sense it's expensive because it's Princeton.

Met 3 of my girlfriends at this restaurant for lunch. We chose it by random. The food was really good, as was the atmosphere. Will definitely consider coming back next time I'm in the Princeton area.

They have nice ambience inside and outside. It was perfect dinner place to celebrate my birthday. The place is in the middle of the Princeton downtown area and has a nice chill vibes. Staff is really good and friendly. Loved their food and drinks.

We met some long lost friends here, so it was important to reconnect. The 4 of us sat at the edge of the bar which was perfectly cozy and intimate. After we ordered the cheapest bottle of wine on the menu, we had to ask to have our order taken and not much attention was paid to us. The food would have been fabulous if it had at least a little bit of salt to enhance the flavors. Really fresh ingredients with lots of butter/cream, but needed some salt. I wish we had just asked for some.

This is my first visit to Mediterra. The service was prompt and friendly. Our group of 5 was seated promptly in(lunchtime on Sunday). It was easy to have a conversation among our group without shouting. I ordered Apple Pancakes - the serving was large and delicious. The "twice baked" chocolate almond croissant was tasty. Others ordered sweet potato felafel and eggs benedict. Everyone in our group enjoyed their starters and entrees.

The papas bravas are good, as is the pasta less lasagna.Restaurant week: Chicken ginger soup was good, but a little too much scallion relish for me. The ricotta gnocchi was disappointing. The gnocchi was doughy, instead of pillowy soft.

We have eaten here many times. Usually our experience is outstanding. Not this time. My duck leg confit in the cassoulet was overly dry (under a heat lamp?). It was not crisp, just dry, and lacking flavor. The pork in the dish was gelatinous and without flavor. The vegetables in the dish were done just right, even tasty, but the sauce bagnet of the dish tasted suspiciously like what was served in the paella classic seafood serving. Very puzzling. The salmon tartare was very good, but the modest serving was perched on a most generous dollop of avocado, and was well-concealed by several large parsley leaves - 10 points for presentation, 5 for content. A disappointing evening.

Mediterra has had good food for 20+ years and it continues to hit the mark. We had a lovely salmon tartare appetizer and a delicious orichette pasta entree for the main course. The prix fixe menu of chicken cacciatore with an appetizer of burrato was also delicious. Where Mediterra is less successful is in its service and the pretentious vibe it gives off. We made a reservation for dinner during Princeton's Restaurant week. Even though Mediterra is a proud sponsor of it, when we were seated, we weren't given the Restaurant week menu with the rest of the menus. We had to ask for them. Even then, we were give a single menu for the table. It's clear that Mediterra wasn't really an eager participant in the promotion. Lots of other similar things went wrong for us. Though we had a reservation, we were seated in the tables near the bar instead of the main room. The reason given was simply that the main room was full. But isn't the point of reservation is to ensure that there will be space? We weren't even asked if we wanted to wait for a table. We were simply taken to the bar. This is not acceptable for such a restaurant. Similarly, the service was simply off. Almost as soon as someone put there fork down, someone would swoop in and take the plate away; even if others were still eating. It's as if they wanted us to finish quickly -- which is ridiculous given that we were there at the end of the night. Another thing -- a dish that we were sharing was brought to the table without any serving utensils and we had to sit for awhile until we could flag down our server for the utensils. The upshot is that the food is good, but don't come here for the atmosphere and service. There are other places in Princeton such as Mistral that will treat you much better.

Mediterra never fails to impress. The staff - from Anthony, Jeff, Rich, Martino, Jaime and the entire crew are the best. The food, cocktails and ambience are unsurpassed.I can't wait for my next trip to Mediterra.

My wife and I had her birthday lunch here and had a great time. The appetizers and food were all fantastic, the style being slightly outside our normal dining options but we deeply enjoyed all the elements of our meal. On top of the accolades of the restaurant, the location is great in that we were able to walk around the adjacent square and shops after our meal. Highly recommend and we will definitely be coming back again.

Food was good as usual and the restaurant was lively but not deafening. Service was poor. Server handed full dishes across the table, picked up dishes when people were still eating. Requests went unanswered. English comprehension seemed questionable.

For a elegant and upscale restaurant, I find the service was pleasant and the atmosphere nice, however, when comes the gourmet entrees, it was a little disappointing, when the dinner entree arrived undercooked for some reason. If I have rated my overall dining experience, it would be 2 out of 5 Stars. 2 for Food, 4 for Service, 4 for Ambiance, and 2 for Quality.

Went for lunch for the first time in years since I moved from the area. Happy to report it's as good as ever. I had a delicious piece of grouper. Service was friendly and efficient. You need a reservation. It's a great restaurant.
