Went last night, not impressed. Food mediocre to say the least.

We went there for brunch. Everything that we tried was super delicious: fried salmon, heirloom salad, steak and eggs, French toast.

An absolute gem in Princeton. The food is so great! The salmon crispy bites were delicious!

Diana our waitress was really great. Jorge from the bar even came to say hello and made his el tigre cocktail. Diana was very attentive to detail and even gave us something for our anniversary.

Always an experience! You're not just a table, the staff always treat you exceptionally well. Even staff that are not in your section will stop to great you warmly. Always get the Szechuan wings!

Food and service were great. Some people appreciate an open kitchen; I feel like the overwhelming smell is a distraction during our meal and then again when the food smell lingers afterwards.

I recently visited Mistral,
and had an experience that truly touched me. My grandmother, who is diabetic, wasn’t feeling her best during our visit, and the staff went above and beyond to take care of her. Without hesitation, they brought out a beautiful, fresh salad, followed by coffee and ice cream – all of it delicious.

Alivia, the manager, was incredibly sweet and attentive, ensuring my grandmother was comfortable. When we tried to pay for the meal, she kindly refused, saying it was their pleasure to help. This level of care and kindness is rare, and it made our visit unforgettable.

The food was not only gorgeous but tasted amazing, and the service was impeccable from start to finish. I can’t recommend Mistral enough for anyone looking for a warm, welcoming, and high-quality dining experience. Thank you to the entire team for making our day special!

The food was surprisingly poor. The scrambled eggs were wet with some sauce that was not asked for nor did the menu or server mention this and it has not been this way in the past. The omelet was hard and only the vegetables inside could be eaten. The French toast was drenched in syrup and outside was hard and inedible. We ordered the eggs breakfast, omelet and French toast all at the same time. The server decided on her own that we wanted the French toast after the rest of our food.

Great decor and atmosphere. Good cocktail's. I've enjoyed brunch there in the past but not this time. Every dish had about 2 or 3 more ingredients than were necessary. The steak and eggs had hollandaise and 2 other sauces that didn't work well together in my opinion. One sauce had eggplant in it, between that and the potatoes the whole dish was heavier than it needed to be. The mini croque Monsieur was so heavily breaded and fried. There was more breading than what was inside The Fava bean toast had about 10 ingredients, multiple sauces that made it taste like mushy bread. Maybe we misordered but you would think with 3 dishes we would have liked one of them. Liked their previous brunch menu much better.

Food was great as always. However, this evening the kitchen was overwhelmed with a couple of large parties sitting in the outside patio and although the first 4 dishes came out quickly, the remaining 4 dishes took over 45mins to reach our table of 4. This was even more unusual because there were a few empty tables in the dining room but clearly shows the inexperience of the kitchen staff to handle the chaos of a busy Wednesday night. I will return but it does seem that over the years, the kitchen service is gradually deteriorating. Thank goodness the servers and bus boys were on point.

I'm normally a big fan of Mistral, but this meal was underwhelming, Perhaps we ordered badly, but 3 of the 4 dishes we ordered were, well, bland. The corn beignets were delicious, but even the heirloom tomato salad was not packed with the flavors I expect from either Mistral or from a great heirloom tomato. Maybe an off night, or the chef thought a light summer menu should be lighter in flavor density too? Our server was polite and functional but likewise lacked flavor (personality).

Love this restaurant but a little disappointed with the sides. Bok choy was over cooked and white rice was soggy. Usually always great food but tonight was a little off. Will still be back. Bok choy needs to be cooked retaining its color green.. coming fm an Asian! ?

Service was terrible as I had to get up from table three times to ask another server to find our server (last time was in order to pay check!). Plus main course was served before we finished appetizers. The fish with Étouffée and rice was bland (not what I would consider Etouffee) and the rice was mushy. Not worth the price.
