OMG. This place has gone so far downhill in the last few months it's uncanny.

First, when you walk in, there are several signs indicating this is one of the failing trend of restaurants which charge a 3.5% surcharge for paying via credit card. That's a turn-off right away.
Second, the menu has been augmented since our last visit with some appealing-sounding dishes, such as Texas Chicken-Fried Steak (served with gravy, beans and cornbread). We both decided to give it a try. BIG mistake.
The chicken-fried steak wasn't even fit for an animal (see later). Well over-cooked with a thin layer of semi-burnt breading - and no gravy. We had to ask twice to get the advertised gravy and when it came, it was thin, weak and oily - nothing like the viscous white gravy one expects with CFS. Trying to cut into the meat was laborious - extremely tough and fatty. Inedible, in fact. The beans and (northern-style) cornbread were fine. In fact, the cornbread was many times more moist than the meat.
At the end of the meal, the server asked how it was and we didn't hold back. No apology was offered for the poor quality and he more or less just blew us off - no discount for terrible food, either.
Upon getting home, I assessed whether the remains were fit for a dog. I scraped off the burnt breading to reveal one piece of meat which was fully 2/3 fat. It was absolutely horrible and was not even fit for a dog.
We will not be returning and are actively spreading the word regarding how far downhill this place has gone in a relatively short period.

Food is not bad. Atmosphere is nice. Service is messy. I ordered over a $150 of food and they forgot every single sauce. I had to drive all the way back and no compensation. Terrible service for especially how much I spent.

We love this place and all of the sister restaurants at Gretalia. We ordered $100 of takeout yesterday and both the brisket and ribs were beyond poor. Undercooked and so much fat. We know how good they can be but yesterday was terrible.

Horrible, overpriced food. My wife and I ate at the Lambertville location 5 times in the last year before they closed and highly suggested the place to friends and family. The food at this location is totally different. Smaller portions, everything less tasty and prepared differently, more expensive, and ours was cold. I won’t suggest this place to anyone or be back. Very much sad, being from Texas, to see such a good BBQ joint 180 and go down hill.

Brisket was ALL fat. I understand SOME fat as it's brisket but it's like they gave me all bottom of the barrel pieces that are inedible. I get brisket all the time at another bbq place. Will prob just go there from now on. Not worth the $.

Went there today after finding out that the cozy location in Lambertville had closed. The new place is too big and cold feeling, and you don't have the aroma of BBQ there anymore. If I don't see food being served from a steam table, then it is being reheated. The staff is totally different, and nothing compared to the old store, where they interacted with the customers in a fun way. The ribs and the wings were dry, and the food was expensive for the portions received. $40 later for 2 of us for lunch, we won't be going back. Also, why should we be penalized 3.5% for using our debit card, which is supposed to be the same as cash, according to Visa? That's one of the costs of doing business.

I had high expectations and was really disappointed. High price for the portion of food. I thought I would smell smoke, but I didn't, and neither did the food. The place is clean, and the service was good, but I didn't feel the atmosphere of a BBQ place.

Brisket was very flavorful and tender. The Kansas City sweet sauce was to die for as well.

Outstanding food and BBQ done right!! As a fan of BBQ, and having family in Texas, I'm always up for something new... but few impress enough to return and bring friends from out of State. More Than Q brings the flavor and the ribs are tender and moist, as well as outrageously huge! The sides are great, be sure to get the cornbread and the cucumber/red onion salad is amazing. Thanks to manager Sean and chef Maynor for being great hosts and ambassadors for More Than Q and is worth the 40 minute ride from Hillsborough!

My son and I stopped in here on our way home from a college tour and we LOVED it. I got the brisket with creamy coleslaw and thought it was delicious. Kinda hoping my son picks this college so we can make this restaurant a tradition when we visit!

Dietary restrictions: Plenty of Gluten free options!

I recently went to More than Q in Easton, and it blew me away. One of the things I had there was Burnt Ends beans, and all by itself it set the bar for the experience. Same for the Mac and cheese, pulled pork and brisket.
But in Princeton, it was a completely different experience. The burnt ends beans were generic and boring, like something out of a can. I had to show my wife a photo of the Easton version and you could clearly see that Easton had many ingredients, and Princeton was maybe just beans and dried up brisket.
Same thing for the mac and cheese
The brisket was just ok, the pulled pork seemed old and over cooked, and the wings were super dry and almost burnt.
It was sad to be rave about the Easton experience, and wind up driving away from Princeton feeling a bit of a let down. The staff was great though, so thumbs up to them.
My advice - take the drive to beautiful Easton. It’s worth the effort.

Paid about $30 for half pound of brisket and an order of five wings. Maybe outside the price range for most "lunches" but they do have sandwiches in the $12-15 range.

While I enjoyed the smoked wings...the brisket was a bit dry.

Space and decor are great...very clean and well-maintained space.

Large shared parking lot with the adjacent stores (Trader Joe's and Chipotle)

Would like to return to try some other items.
