Disappointed with the services.

Wow, what happened to this place? I’ve been coming here since it opened. It was not really ever true Mexican cuisine, but it was always reliably edible. And the Marquiritas were always decent. We go in Wednesday, around 1, first thing the one guy covering both the dining area and bar shouts “be a while, I’m covering everything myself. He was right. We finally end up with food. These are nachos? No. And the drinks? Well, now they are tasteless and weak. Too bad, this used to be a great place.

Where to even begin??? When we arrived at the location at 5:15 pm we were seated promptly, however we were then not acknowledged. We ended up having to walk back up to the host to ask if a server would be with us after waiting over 10 minutes. We nicely let them know that we would have to leave by 6:15 to get to a movie (giving us an hour to order and get our food). Once our server Jaquay came over he let us know he would be serving us, we then let him know that we had a movie to get to and we are ready to place our drink and food order. He then proceeded to let us know that he had to go get us one more set of silverware and did not take our orders at that time. Ten plus minutes went by and Jaquay had not come back to give us the silverware or take our order still! We went back to the host to track him down and when he arrived he still did not even apologize for being MIA. When he started to take our order he let us know that he will take our drink and food order - one of the people with us started by saying their food order and Jaquay chuckled and said "that's not a drink" which we did not find funny at all. After placing an order for the queso and guacamole duo he came back later and let us know that they were out of guacamole!! 15 mins later he comes back and says "they lied to me" and gave us guac. We waited 25+ minutes after ordering our food and asked Jaquay if there was any way he could check on our order and he said "I can't go back there and cook it myself" WOW. We were trying to be patient and 6:10 rolls around and we still did not have our food. I went to look for Jaquay and he was no where to be found, let the host know that we had to leave now and would need to pack our food to go after waiting an hour in the restaurant and still not having our food. We stood at the front of the restaurant for over ten minutes and Jaquay still did not come out of the back with our food or our bill. After watching our movie without getting to eat we had to separate all our meals and noticed that we never even received our tortillas for both the fajitas that were order. WE NEVER EVEN RECEIVED AN APOLOGY FROM ANYONE IN STORE WHICH HONESTLY WOULD HAVE MADE THINGS A LITTLE MORE BEARABLE. MYSELF AND EVERYONE WITH US WILL NEVER PATRONIZE THIS LOCATION AGAIN. I HAVE ALSO SPREAD THE WORD TO OUR FRIENDS TO NEVER GO HERE IF THEY HAVE ANY INTENTION OF HAVING FOOD WITHIN AN HOUR.

This sucks, never coming back. If you are planning to come here, either come to another location or go somewhere elsewhere. We got seated and got our drinks. i ordered the classic burrito smothered in queso, and our waitress brought back the "big burrito with steak, rice, and beans". when i got my REAL order, my wife, pamala's meal was horrible. i took a bite and the beans were hard, and barely cooked. mine had something black and worm-like in the middle, and i accidentally bit into the jalapeño, which was VERY hot for me. When we asked for our check, she was nowhere to be seen. she came after 30 something minutes and gave us our check. the pen was not working, so we had to get one from someone at the front. i left the lowest tip i ever left, do not come here.

The wait was 40 minutes to get seated. Then our drinks didn’t come to the table till mid way through our dinner even though they said they were making them . Our server was over worked having 8 tables to handle and clean them as well and run food and drinks. She felt terrible and it wasn’t her fault at all management sucks I will never go back! When we asked the manager to take the drinks off the bill he said I’ll have to take your drinks away! This is our last time we go to that on the border sadly!

We had to wait for 45 minutes to get our food and when we got the food it was cold, the waitress was really kind, but other than that bad experience.

It was 10 of us, and the restaurant seemed understaffed... everyone waited to get the table even though most of the restaurant was empty. Our waiter was super courteous, but poor guy had no help... took 2 hours to get our dinner, at 9:48, we asked for dessert.. simple cheese cake and cooks yelled at our waiter and told him that they were not serving. Place had no managers or leaders, tables were all dirty even an hour after the dinners were long gone. At this rate this location is bound to go under.
