Fun place to visit and walk around. Cool plants and friendy squirrels. Definatley not as pleasant in the winter. The art museum construction also isn't doing it any favors

Very beautiful enclave of the larger university community that provides ample space for reflection and finding peace.

Affectionately called the Encanto house by my children. Beautiful hidden garden behind the house with lovely glass event venue room in posterior of house.

Great place for a walk. Well maintained garden. Peaceful place to have a quiet afternoon. Walking paths are well maintained and easy to use. Open to public and not too noisy

Lovely gardens. It rains here so everything is green, blooming, and beautiful. It's also hot and humid. I'm from California, and this is quite exotic.

This is our family's favorite go to place with kids. We love the tulips and the garden. Well kept garden, must see if you are visiting Princeton University..

Historic, stately building and garden but non Princeton people not allowed in house.

Of I had to pick one place to bring visitors, it would be Prospect Gardens. The garden is gorgeously manicured with seasonal flowers and shrubs, surrounded by tall trees to make a peaceful sanctuary. Bring a blanket and have a picnic or relax on one of several benches nest the house on the hill that overlook the whole garden.

My work team and I have lovely memories of celebrating Christmas and Thanksgiving at the buffets set up for those holidays at the Prospect House. The food is always delicious and the staff super friendly and nice. The chocolate bread pudding, the lobster and pumpkin bisques are always a favorite! The well kept garden outside is a treat of a view and a stroll through it an extremely pleasant experience. A great spot for pictures! Of course the location being on the Princeton university campus is a plus!
