I ordered the Drunken Noodle dish, sans egg, because it was marked as "vegetarian." Long story short, I had an allergic reaction to my meal. I confirmed that the dish, marked "vegetarian" contained "just a little bit of fish sauce" according to staff. I did not disclose my allergy at the time of placing my order because I didn't think I needed to. I was intentionally selecting a dish labeled "vegetarian" to avoid fish and meat. I am highly allergic to fish. It's now day 3 and I still have hives. When I called to let them know what happened, they were very non cholent about the whole thing. No offer to reimburse me my meal, no apology for the incorrect label.

Roots in Princeton has decent food, but the overall experience is fairly average. The service was okay-ish—nothing bad, but not very attentive either. The restaurant itself is quite simple with no extra vibes or ambience. We tried the ramen bowls and Pad Thai, and while they were fine, the flavors felt more blended and muted rather than distinct or bold. It’s an okay spot for a casual meal, but nothing really stood out.

Plenty of parking is available as it’s in the strip mall complex.

I like the pork bun, very delicious. The ramen comes with lots of vegetables 🎉, but the pork broth is a little bit bland.

Kai and Jessica were amazing. They were incredibly warm and attentive and made sure we were well taken care of from the moment we arrived. The food at Roots in Princeton was super delicious. Simple dishes yet packed with so much flavor.

The Singapore noodles, spicy miso soup, unagi bowl and shrimp mango sushi were all outstanding and truly the highlights of our meal.

It is a must visit place for families.

I ordered the mango prawns and on my second visit, I ordered the kimchi fried rice with beef. Both were delicious. I thought the mango prawns did not need the sweet and sour sauce with it. It made it too sweet. The kimchi fried rice with beef was quite tasty. It wasnt too spicy. Like a soothing spicy. The place is quite spacious to bring a big group. Parking is shared parking lot with other stores.

The curry bowl and singapore noodles are so good! We always ask for no egg and no fish sauce and they're very helpful in making sure things are vegan
