I haven't been back in a few years but the food is as good as always and the decor had a bit of an upgrade so very nice. I love the California chicken burrito. It looked so big I didn't think I could eat in one sitting but magically did. Hubby got the carne asada.

I've been coming to this restaurant for over 10 yrs and they are remarkably consistent every single time. The food is always delicious, prices are very reasonable and service is always friendly and attentive. I will be back again and again for the next 10 yrs.

8 of us dined here last night to celebrate a friend's 60th birthday. The atmosphere was vibrant and comfortable. The staff was friendly and the food was good. The California Burrito was huge. My friend really enjoyed her Enchiladas De Mar. Looking forward to coming back.

Best Mexican food in Central NJ. We've been regulars for over 20 yrs. The standout is the salsa. Super unique, high vinegar content that gives it a bite over all other salsas. Other standouts are the Chipotle Shrimp, Carne Asada and Chicken Chimichangas. For the Chimis make sure you pour some salsa and the red sauce over them and the rice before you dig in otherwise you might leave wondering what the hype was for.
I found this place just in my backyard literally where I live. I traveled the country tasting Mexican food / restaurants and here it was right behind me. Came here for dinner and ordered the carne asada and it was delicious. The meat was well cooked as perdine's It was a skirt steak along with very tasty refried beans and rice. Although the quantity of rice should improve. The tortillas were standard, not homemade. It had a warm cozy atmosphere and a stop were very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be coming here for more takeaways/dinner / lunches as it's right here where we live.

The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was fantastic! The staff were even nicer. My only gripe is that they could be a bit more generous with the chips and salsa. I had the beef chimichangas, which were excellent. It does get busy on weekend nights, so be prepared for a wait. Prices are a bit above average, but the portions are fair.
