Lamb kebab is a 0/10, it’s premade tenderized frozen meat, and has zero lamb meat texture. When I first came when they just opened, it wasn’t like that. Would not come again.

Food wasn’t great and very expensive for no reason. Charged for extra rice wit a dish that is supposed to come with it.

To be fair, I fully understand the poor reviews on this store. You have to be very selective in ordering the right dishes to get a good experience. In general, most northwest China cuisine dishes from this restaurant are authentic and highly recommended (e.g., green pepper and beef fried noodle; crispy lamb chop; lamb scorpion pot; flat bread in lamb soup). We have ordered these many times by now.

However, I would avoid ordering non-Northwest-China dishes (e.g., tomato noodle soup, pork soup dumplings) as they are very mediocre and not worth the money.

Furthermore, ordering delivery from this restaurant is quite a scam. On most delivery apps (Ubereats, Doordash, etc.), the price of each menu item can be $5-10 higher than the in-store prices (even for pickup!).

A super average experience. The food was just okay but the staff were honestly acting like they didn’t want us to be there. Made the whole experience just really weird

Very bad experience. The noodle was served extremely spicy without asking for spice level, making it impossible to eat. When I mentioned it, I was told “this is how we always make it,” but it was completely different from the version my friend had before. No service and no attempt to address the issue. Disappointing overall.

The braced beef noodle soup was absolutely delicious! Good quality and tender meat, hand made noodles, rich spicy flavor. Finally a delicious and affordable restaurant in Princeton! Wow, this is a miracle!

If you’re not shy from the numbing mala spiciness, or very rich cut of meat, this is the place for you! Every time we stop by Princeton, this place is packed with people for a GOOD reason, the food is amazing. The noodles are very well-made, and the soup is very rich and flavorful. I’d highly recommend the spicy oil noodles, or any stir fry noodles there are also well-made (the cut noodles option gives a chewy bouncy texture). Their lamb meat is also highly recommended. However, we cannot forget about the staff- even when the place is packed, there is this one staff who always recommends the best dish in the menu and checks in frequently to make sure the dish suits our palate. One of the best restaurants that makes Princeton special .
