Our experience there was so wrong on so many levels!!! We had a reservation and after being seated, we waited for almost an hour for our appetizer to be served - burned and cold - it had to be sent back (it was a cheesy bread - nothing too challenging)!! At that point our waiter came to us and told us that 3 out of our 5 meals were “no longer available”!?!?!? It took them over an hour to determine that they were unable to serve our pulled pork!?!? We told our waiter that we wished to speak with the manager. After another 15 minutes, our 2 orders of burgers still had not come out and no manager had come to our table. My husband went to the hostess stand where he waited, as servers walked by. Finally a girl, wiping down tables, asked if he needed anything and he said, “yes, the manager” To our surprise - she WAS the manager. She said that she was aware of the problem but never came to our table or offered any help or showed any concern. I am literally speechless and beyond disappointed.

Fun place in Princeton’s Palmer Square. Great ambiance, how many places can boast that Albert Einstein carved his name into a table? Solid beer selection. Definitely a good hangout place.

The poutine has a few drops of gravy at most, I've never had poutine so dry. Also the duck on top of the poutine was cold. The Caeser salad was very small for the price and the added chicken was very dry. The staff and service were great.

Really cute outdoor seating. I am not exaggerating when I say this: this place has the best mushroom toast ever. Goat cheese on sourdough with wild mushrooms. Probably some other stuff too I can't remember. Every time I go out to eat and I see mushroom toast on the menu I order it, and it never lives up to the toast here. Come to Yankee Doodle Tap Room for the toast I cannot stress this enough.

Just a drop in for libations which were absolutely delicious. The bartender was great! The Tap Room is very roomy and nostalgic. It’s located right in the beautiful shopping district of Princeton.

I had a really good burger and great service from Mike last night. Expected just passable or slightly better, but we were very pleasantly surprised. The signature Burger was tasty, done exactly as ordered, and with the accompanying fries and pickle plus the strawberry and beet salad, was just enough substance after a long day of traveling. The Belgian Tripel was excellent. And Mike, our server, was darn near brilliant: anticipating and addressing needs, and good sense of humor.

We were a table of 3 that absolutely didn't exist after placing our Dinner order. We ordered drinks that came out quickly, Calamari Appetizer and 3 Burgers. 45 minutes later no food we asked our server to check and he never returned... unfortunately we had to walk out. Worst experience we've ever had.

Very nice location in Princeton, super nice and friendly staff.
We were seven girls, in a hurry for lunch and in less than half an hour they prepared and served delicious dishes for us.
We suggest you try their chicken wings, accompanied by excellent sauces.
Everything wasn't expensive, the young guys were available to help us and serve us as best as possible.
They gave to us for free large glasses of water with ice and they have excellent wines, even by the glass, at fair prices.
Thanks a lot, you made us enjoy american food and the Princeton atmosphere.

Excellent food. The watermelon salad is amazing. We sat in the bar and the nar keep was great. The host was refusing to let people outside move indoors when there was plenty of open tables. It was 98F outside and some members of our party were forced to eat outside while tables inside sat open.

Food was good. Burger was tasty but dry. Asked for condiments and that helped. Very nice atmosphere and prices were good considering the area. Nice patio! Service was just ok. Waiter didn’t write anything down and had to come back to ask about order. Would give it another shot if ever in the area.

I had high hopes for this taproom. I am a brewer and an avid taster. However, despite the celebrities on the wall and the furnishings, it doesn’t live up to one’s expectations. The biggest let down is that they don’t serve flights ?. To add to that, the food wasn’t anything’s special.

Chicken dinner ($30) was too tough to eat. Portions are excessively small. I will never order from here again.
