..update ----Closed due to Fire.Cerrado por FuegoGreat overpriced place, either you love it or Hate it , I love it and all of my friends. Good food awesome staff and strong drinks. You gonna have a good time, careful bringing minors place can get loud. And come with money I had never pay less than 200 for a table of 2 to 4. ( eating and drinking ) parking it's limited but the location it's pretty safe.Kid-friendliness: Kids allow even thought the place is meant for adults , loud music and alcohol including vaping and hookah.

I first came in in August with my family ever since I’ve been there every weekend celebrating all of our birthdays. The drinks are amazing the food is great there. also the music is great I love it I can’t wait for them to open again :( 10/10

This was the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. The music was awful and SO LOUD we couldn’t talk. The waitress was HORRIBLE. TOOK forever for her to come over to take order. Then they didn’t have items on the menu. Which they took the order for and then half hour later came to tell us. So I ordered a steak salad. It came with no dressing and she said they didn’t have any. Ok WEIRD. So I really didn’t want a salad with no dressing so I got a container to take it home. I ordered hot chocolate which was on the menu. She said no hot chocolate. I said ok coffee. She said no coffee. I said ok tea. She said no tea. I almost thought we were getting pranked. Then asked for the bill and 18% tip had been auto added. This is the worst restaurant with the WORST and slowest service that I’ve ever experienced in the USA. Don’t waste your money here. It was the worst. In my opinion this place has got to be a front because this couldn’t possibly be a restaurant.

Terrible experience. The food was cold and super hard(tostones). The portions were too small for the price and the wait for the food after being seated was super long. They also had a very limited menu since everything you asked for they had run out of.

The service was HORRIBLE. It was not a busy night. The waitress ignored us for a long time. They didn't have what I wanted on the menu. So I got a salad. It was ok but there was no dressing and she said they didn't have any. We finished our meal ( Well I can't say I finished mine because I don't like salad with no dressing). I took it home. Then we wanted to order coffee and desert. SHE ACTUALLY SAID " We have no coffee". I said ok I will have hot chocolate which was on the menu. She said we have no hot chocolate. I said ok so I said can I please have tea. Yup you guessed it no tea. At this point we were wondering what the heck was going on. My daughter wanted to order desert but changed her mind. We then couldn't get her to come over with the check. We THEN saw that 18% tip had already been added by THEM. So it made sense that the waitress couldn't have cared less. I would tell people that our experience was HORRIBLE. Don't waste your money here. We were so looking forward to a great meal after our day in NYC. JUST HORRIBLE.

I went there during a break in my practice, and didn’t have much time to get food. This place was recommended by a friend, so I decided to go. Important to note that the place was very empty at the time I ordered. I ordered two of the chicken sandwiches, and I was told that it would take about ten minutes to make them. That was fine with me. However, 15 minutes had passed and I had only seen the employee once. I feel it’s important to mention I have bad social anxiety, and I was very anxious because I was late to my practice at this point. The woman came out about two minutes later and had me pay, and I asked again if she could please try and make it as fast as possible because I was already so late. Please correct me if I’m wrong to try and rush her if she was already out of the timeline she provided. I was starting to have a panic attack because of the situation and had to call a friend. My friend tried telling me to tell the woman that I was going to have to come back later, but I couldn’t even do that because there was no one in the front space for the majority of the time I was there. She cant back two minutes later and I told her that I was going to have to come back later if it wasn’t ready. I ended up going back to my rehearsal and crying because I felt like such an idiot over the situation because the woman seemed to not be empathetic to the fact that she was causing me to be behind schedule, and didn’t seem to have any urgency to fulfill my order. As a teen who works in the service industry I ALWAYS try and stay on time because that and keeping the customer happy are the two most important things about my job. The situation did resolve when one of my friends kindly offered to pick the food up for me while I was onstage for a scene. That’s about it.

First time here. Don't waste your time! Had a party of 16 and barely anyone liked their food. Bland! Drinks were sweet and needed extra shots to make it worth it. Food over priced for quality. Service slow. We got utensils after the meal and plates for appetizers after we ate them all. took about an hour to get all of our drinks.

Food was unappealing, many items on menu was not available. I really hate that because I got there pretty early. No bartender with experience. Asked for martini and bartender did not know how to make it. Only knew items on the drink menu. Asked for Margarita on the rocks but was given frozen Margarita. Just a mess. 2 stars for ambience.

its a really cool place. Amazing music, the food was great and the dancing area was amazing. The only bad things (and the reason I do not give it 5 stars) is that the waiters dress very inappropriately and the peopl that order hookah to smoke is like not it. Not everyone likes that you know, and considering the fact that kids can go and teens as well, I feel like the hookah and the waiters could do better.

Cute little diner with a few tables, which gets crowded on weekend mornings. Been here for breakfast a few times and it is standard good-quality diner fare. Tasty pancakes and decent coffee. The atmosphere is nice and homey, but the servers we always see here don't make eye contact so it is uncomfortable to ask for service which would be my only negative takeaway.

I normally do not write reviews but I felt my experience last night is warranted for this review. I went there on Halloween to eat with my family because I've been to this restaurant more than twice, and I love their margaritas and flank steak dinner. The server I had took our order, and one of our orders was suppose to come with double sides of rice because the grilled chicken dinner came with two sides. The drinks and appetizer came out quick without any issues. Then our meals came out and the grilled chicken dinner that was suppose to have rice ONLY had French fries ONLY instead. My teenager was upset because he wanted only rice which he told the server. Then he did not like the chicken. When the server came back to the table I let her know the sides were incorrect, we wanted to switch the order because the grilled chicken didn't taste good. I asked could we order something else instead. She then said , that's what you ordered with an attitude. I then asked for silverware which I did not get initially. The table for 4 had only 3 sets of silverware. We also needed ketchup and hot sauce. She gave us a menu back which was on a tablet and walked away. We ordered 2 more drinks. I knew she had an attitude and seemed annoyed but I did not know the rest of dinner would be ruined. The server then went to the other tables and seemed happy and attentive. She never even apologized. Then I felt like I wasn't the right complexion or spoke the right language for her to feel she owed us one. The manager eventually came over to see what happened, and he was extremely apologetic and nice. The server never came back to take our order or give me silverware, condiments or drinks. I returned my food because it was cold. I'm not sure how I was suppose to eat without silverware and a server avoiding our table. Horrible experience! The manager did discount the bill at the end.

Nice looking restaurant; questionable customer service. The restaurant was not crowded but we waited at the hostess stand for a while. Since no one approached, we had to ask a passing waitress if we could be seated. She checked a note pad for our reservation and walked away without a word, never to return. A nice gentleman finally came up and ask if we would like to be seated. The waitress didn’t speak English, but the menu is electronics. Despite pointing to photos of our orders, they were still wrong.Wings were so ice cold, the sauce was almost jellied.Otherwise the food was fine; nothing to rave about. The space is nicely decorated but the music is loud so expect a club like environment rather than a restaurant suitable for a date night. We had been to this restaurant when it was Cubanu and had a great date night; Monchy’s is not the same.

For context: we went on a Wednesday night and it was not busy at ALL. I've been to so many Colombian restaurants and this is by far the worst place I have ever been to. The only reason why it has one star was because the food was okay and the drinks were good. The food wasn't all that. I've had way BETTER COLOMBIAN food. The customer service was a 0 star. The woman asked us for our order and that was it. She did not come around once to ask if we needed anything else, for another round, for more drinks. She was sitting down talking with a coworker the WHOLE time. I wouldn't even mind that if she checked on us once in a while. It doesn't hurt to ask if we needed anything even one time. They charged us for an automatic 18% gratuity even though she did not deserve it at ALL. Don't waste your money here or your time. There are better options in Elizabeth which is not a far drive from Rahway.

The food is really subpar with meat that needs more seasoning and the drinks are hit or miss. During the day it's not very busy here at this location. The entrance and exit of the restaurant is very confusing. To be honest there are definitely better places to eat in the area. The business also has no regard for their neighbors playing loud music that vibrates throughout the neighborhood anytime from midnight to 4am. It disturbs the area for blocks and the venue nor the food warrant this level of disruptive noise.

Visited this restaurant based on reviews. My family and I are very open to different restaurants and enjoy eating a variety of food. We stepped into the restaurant and it's decorated very nicely, however, it was a bit to dark for our family taste. Our kids were a little thrown off with the lack of light, but proceeded anyway. We didn't like the music of choice (music video with half naked women) as it was completely uncensored and with poor choice of vocabulary (night club music). We were concerned with our kids hearing and seeing this as they are toddlers and repeat everything they hear. The food was good, and still recommend the place to anyone who wants good food at a decent price. This rating of stars is based on the environment and how we felt towards it.Kid-friendliness: Definitely did not like the music and music videos that were playing. Very proactive and uncensored. We felt un easy because we didn't want our kids to repeat what was being said. We did enjoy the food just not going to bring my family here, for the very reason of music and atmosphere.
