Just ate at Gigi’s Latin Bistro, and it was amazing! Tastes like home cooking, portions are big, and she is quick and reasonably priced. If you’re looking for authentic Puerto Rican food, give her a try! So worth it! And her homemade desserts are superb! 10/10 recommend❣️

Quiet little bistro with Puerto Rican flavor. Gigi was on hand cooking and serving. I’m A vegetarian and most things had meat. So she tailored something for me. Which I appreciated. Avocado toast with egg. The avocado was perhaps not freshly made. But prepared earlier ? Not sure. You know what I’m referring if you are an avocado consumer. But don’t be discouraged. Cafe con leche and papaya shake was our choice. That alone was $10 together.
You feel like you’re eating at mama’s house though. My husband had pernil and arroz con gandules. Maduros. The pernil lacked flavor and didn’t seem freshly made. I understand pernil takes hours to cook. The rice and pigeon peas with maduros were spot on ! We took home coconut flan & guava cheesecake. I’d recommend to try it if you want flavors of Puerto Rico. Our bill came to $65 which I thought was a bit high. But considering the overhead these days , it’s the norm. Gigi is a very good host.

I really love this friendly cozy place! So far, I've been ordering the avena puertoriqueña with eggs over easy on the side, absolutely scrumptious! You wouldn't think oat meal could be special, but this is smooth with just the right amount of sweetness. Also, Gigi's coffee is terrific. I plan to explore the other menu items. Great deserts also! Highly recommend!

The atmosphere is very welcoming. I was greeted with smiles once I walked. The food was served at perfect temperature. They didn't rush me to order. Answered questions about food. The bistro is decorated beautifully as well. The food ordered was delicious. Can't wait to come back and try other Menu dishes.

She opened up late, ignored the phone when I called after she opened so I couldn’t even place a Togo order…then when I walked in she was rude and didn’t seem to wanna serve me..told me I needed to wait with an attitude so I walked out ??♂️??♂️

my friends and I had brunch/lunch at Gigi's today and we all give it 5 stars! The restaurant was comfortable and service great. The food was fresh and very tasty. I had the avocado toast with salad and it was really good. Gigi herself is friendly and welcoming. I definitely recommend gigis latin bistro!

Gigi's Latin Bistro is a nice and cozy spot to enjoy some good eats. First time experience was a good one. We tried the pastelitos ( chicken and beef) very tasty with some homemade sauce. We also had Corn beef / rice/ with beans, also very tasty. And we ended our day with the guava cream cheese cake, which was delicious as well. Thanks Gigi? for a great first experience ???

I was delighted to find this authentic Puertorican jewel in the heart of the city of Rahway. The menu offers a variety of options that bring the Boricua taste to your paladar. Examples include the asopao de gandules, and the guava cream cheese cake.The staff is super friendly. Great lunch options. Support the locals.
