I recently visited this town and stumbled upon this amazing bar and restaurant owned by none other than the incredible Leo. From the moment I walked in, Leo made me feel like a long time regular – his warmth and hospitality are unmatched! Even though I was new to the place, he took it upon himself to give me a full tour, including the outdoor lounge (which was closed for the season but still as cozy and inviting as ever).
And let’s talk about the food and drinks – WOW. Phenomenal doesn’t even begin to cover it. Every bite, every sip was crafted to perfection, hitting all the right notes in flavor, freshness, and presentation. This place is a rare find – a blend of top-notch service, a cozy atmosphere, and unforgettable flavors. Leo and his team have truly set the bar high. Highly recommend! This spot deserves 10 stars out of 5!

Awesome experience. The service is impeccable, the food is unbelievable amazing and cocktails are just perfect. I highly recommend it for a nice dinner night or even just a quick bite with drinks… whatever is the occasion, you can’t go wrong. We really liked the volcajete and the skirt steak.

Great tasting food. Had the birria tacos and they were delicious. Good portion too. Also had the flautas for appetizer. Very nice. Had a lot of drinks too (which are more expensive than in other places but well made), with Ciudad de Mexico (coffee based martini) being the best. Definitely will order that drink again. Waiter was very nice and cordial. Tip was included at 18% in the bill for just two people. No issue with that; but when it shows up, I leave it at that level when typically I tip between 20-25%. So all good for me. Will definitely be back. Atmosphere was nice. Quaint but nicely decorated. Good place for a date.

The food and atmosphere is really good. The service is so so. What I have experienced with the restaurant but did not notice until my 3rd trip there is that they automatically charge an 18% gratuity if your bill is over $50; even though there were only 2 of us. The service was not adequate enough for 18%. If you require an 18% gratuity on bills over $50 then your serving staff should be more attentive to your patrons. I should not have to wave my had when I need something. I expect my server/servers should be approaching me asking if everything is ok or is there anything else I need. None of this happened. I don’t believe that any party less than 6 people should be charged an automatic gratuity. How many restaurants in 2024 can you exactly go to today & eat for less than $50? This is morally illegal.

Would have been a perfect night if they did not automatically include 18% TIP for ONLY 2 PEOPLE!! ?Outrageous the tip was 100% of one of our meals. This needs to be fixed. Tipping is NOT mandatory in NJ. Is this towards us as minorities since your restaurant is in a heavily populated minority area? This needs to be FIXED!?

Came here tonight with friends. Great food and drinks were fantastic! Excellent presentation on drinks and dessert. All our meals were excellent. Fish tacos, shrimp tacos, chicken fajitas all fresh and delicious. Fantastic guacamole! This is a gem to have nearby and surpasses other overhyped local places.
