WORST chicken franchise I EVER had. 2 small boiled pieces of chicken in disgusting butter lemon soup with linguine floating in it. Not even a faint taste of wine in it. Not even a roll was included . Tried eating 2 small pieces but ended up throwing out whole dish. Even pizza was waaay below what I remembered it used to be. NEVER wasting my money there again !!

We had a take out pepperoni pie that we ate at the Wet Ticket Brewery's beergarden (located a few doors down or next door) during a concert of the Pennyless Loafers. What made me think about going back to Nancy's Towne House is the good vibes I got when picking up the pizza( thin crust, crisspy, freshly made) and the stories told by a Rahway native and her date dining there while we wait for our order pick up. It's an old school Italian kitchen. Definitely, a gem hidden in plain sight. Courteous; down-to-earth staff. I can only talk about the Rome style thin crust pizza but soon should be able to try other dishes. Until then, I'll hold my horses.

Service is good, but it gets busy, and they do their best to try and keep up.
