Had the Rahway Bomb, minus the hash browns, which was bacon, egg and cheese on an everything bagel, with avocado. It was awesome!! Bacon was really great, thick and cooked a little on the well side. Definitely recommend.

In a small strip mall, plenty of parking.

No chairs or tables, its take out only.

Fresh, delicious bagels, nice and patient staff. Front door should be closed to limit the entry of unruly flies.

We used to frequent this store twice a week, but it kept getting worse and worse. They used the egg shortage to raise the rates, adding only one egg to an already expensive sandwich. Luckily, a new place opened in Avenel, a New York-based bagel spot.

I get the same sandwiches for the same price, but the trade-off is two eggs, a way better bagel, and a great atmosphere.

I truly hope the owners of Rahway Bagel will examine how the business is being run before it's too late to recover.

Good luck

Tiny spot with no seating. The food is ok, somehow they always seem to rush you when taking your order and mess up the order in one way or another! The menu is confusing and doesnt explain add-ons/ extra charges very well. Don't expect your food fast, there is almost always a line/wait.

Don’t waste your time! After hearing about a band-aid being found in a bagel a few weeks ago, I decided to give Rahway Bagel another chance. That was my first mistake. I went in this morning (Wednesday) around 6:30am and I was the only customer. I asked for a dozen plain bagels and asked if they could slice them. While the lady that was helping me was getting ready to fulfill my order, another lady came over and said it would be $0.25 per slice per bagel. I thought this was weird as I’ve been to other bagel shops and have never been charged. She saw my hesitation and asked if I wanted to speak to her manager. She pulled the lady who was buttering a bagel at the butter/cream cheese counter. She spoke to her in Spanish and the lady came over toward me and continued to look at the other lady and kept responding in Spanish. This “manager” never spoke to me and only responded in Spanish to the lady demanding I be charged. I then said it’s okay that I would go to another bagel shop. I then went to the new bagel shop, Bagel Bar, across from the Rahway train station. They were friendly and looked at me like I had two heads when I asked if I’d be charged to slice the bagels. I tipped Bagel Bar the $0.25 per slice per bagel that Rahway Bagel wanted to charge me. Rahway Bagels, get your act together! If you’re still considering going to Rahway Bagel, please don’t waste your time or money. Highly disappointed and dissatisfied. I will never go back, and that’s probably safer since they make their bagels with band-aids and lie to their customers about management.

This is the worst bagel spot ever. Every time i’ve ordered from here by phone. I wait 30-40 minutes even though i call in advance. my breakfast sandwiches are wrong EVERYTIME. I’ll go in to have them fix it and then you wait another 20 minutes. Waste of time, mid sandwich. for sure not worth the stress & money!

I’ve tried this place so many times and each time it’s worst. They can never fully cook any of my sandwiches ,they always get the order wrong almost everytime , the cheese they use is cheap and crappy, the heat up mayo like it’s butter who does that .The meat the usually use is never cooked right and you will be chewing for days smh I’m down for real now this has been like this for years and they will never change and last there is always a problem with the price yesterday the lady at the register try to charge me 64 dollars for a meal that was barely half the price and then she like of yeah no it’s this price

Never a miss with the consistency and taste of Rahway bagel. I always get a French toast bagel with Taylor ham, over easy egg, and cheese. Good pricing. Correct orders. Efficient team.

The bagels were good, especially when toasted. The ladies working there were friendly but looked tired, they were short staffed. Management was a bit disorganized.

The bagels taste like dirt. The smell of the bagels are weird to me as well.
