That's nice you apply for a permit but I've frequently had to avoid your chalkboard sign (which is always right in the middle of the sidewalk) to avoid knocking it over. You guys are REAL COOL.

Popped in to get some pumpkin spice lattes and King Crimson tea to bring back to an event nearby. Came up a book reading and would’ve liked to have stayed! A bit challenging to get our order across because of the mic being used by the book reader. Eclectic atmosphere and notice they had board games and tables outside. Nice neighborhood alternative to the coffee bar chains. The giant cookies looked tempting so we bought a peanut butter one and an almond one. Their menu has some interesting lunch items too for future reference.

One of the many hidden gems in Rahway that perfectly compliments the beautiful downtown area. Great atmosphere with an even better outside sitting area that has talented local bands complimenting it. The food is amazing and fresh and the coffee is some of the best you can find. The service is excellent and probably the best part of the whole experience. An absolute must stop if you’re ever in the area.

Had an afternoon to explore the area while waiting on a plane at Newark. I found the coffee box and was So happy! The coffee was top notch, food prepared with care love and skill, and atmosphere Fun. You could tell the owners and staff care about people’s experience. Highly recommend it

WIDE range of gluten free options, including gluten free bread, donuts, CARROT CAKE!!, etc. had gf tuna panini and my bf had a turkey panini, both absolutely delicious. chai latte was glorious as well!! and the vibes are exquisite, there was a live performer and she was amazing. the service is also very good!!! a staff that cares and is passionate goes such a long way and they show up with that.
This place was recommended to us; we were disappointed. On our first visit we sat for about 10mins before being told to order at the counter. On our second visit we ordered coffee and a scone-it took 20 minutes in an almost empty restaurant before we had our order. The coffee was like warm but at least we were given a fresh, hot coffee -not up to the standard we are used to in Spain.

While in town for work last week, I grabbed my morning coffee at the Coffee Box as it was convenient to where I was staying. I had one of the best iced lattes I have ever consumed!! I am SO GLAD I skipped my usual Starbucks and went here. I have been thinking about this latte and craving it every morning since!! Also, the staff were extremely welcoming. 10/10 would recommend!
Stopped here for a drink and lunch on my way to a train. Absolutely incredible service and coffee. Would recommend to anyone who comes

I personally don’t find the coffee to be very good. I think there are better options elsewhere. Plus their bag coffee is way overpriced compared to the other local coffee shops. However the baristas are very friendly. I love all the local events hosted by the coffee box and I like what they stand for. So I make sure to support them in that matter.
